Second person free airfare

We had a pretty good experience on our last cruise with NCL buy our airfare for one guest, and the second guest flies FREE. I've heard horror stories of them not putting people on the same flight, late flight changes and long layovers. Please comment on good and bad experiences.

Hey i liked that Kids in a Kennel, but let the dogs go cruising? Frontier charges for putting anything in the overhead bins on there planes. Good thing they did not weigh me or my carry on bags and personal items, of course they had to be under the seat...they were over 100 lbs total.

Okay please do not hate me but, can we just leave our dogs at home and not bring them on a ship at sea?

I traveled 70 days last year at sea and left my wife at home. Well i actually never replaced her when she left a decade earlier but it sounded better to leave her behind. So i got the the second and third person in my cabin free airfare on all my travels. Going Single saves alot of money....when they offer 0 supplement rates... those days might not be coming back?

NCL's CEO just let the cat out on prices yesterday, he stated that NCLH is 13 billion in debt and he is going to pay down the debt 4 billion this year. This will be good news for stockholders in the coming years as the stock price never recovered like RCL's did after the COVID Pandemic. This will hurt for awhile but hope to see there stock in the $50 range like pre 2020 not $16-20. RCL was $100 range pre 2020 but now is $140-150. They did not take on as much debt and dilute there shares as much as NCL did.

He did say they were still trying to find 500 million this year to cut, i am wondering if we will need to clean our cabins every other day next? For many cruisers that have just joined us, they have no clue how spoiled we were back in the day with the perks they gave us. I remember the cabin steward cleaning and straightening my bed every time i left the cabin all day long...thats right and the animal towels and candy on pillows at night.

Oops! Forgot about your kids!Wink

What trying ? Besides, I took some flack for recommending placing kids in a kennel, so my wife in an overhead bin isn’t a far stretch. Especially for free

Yeah we did that second person flies free thing. My wife was dissed off. It was bad enough she had to be shoved into the overhead bin, but she didn’t get a meal. Love

I don't understand.

He was trying to be funny. Big Smile

Count your blessings because exploring the city may have cost you to miss your flight. It's always a hit or miss getting from NYC to Newark airport. Depending on the time of day if you're not familiar you will miss your flight. The traffic just to get across the George Washington Bridge can sometimes take hours. Especially now with all the construction. My advice to anyone who's not familiar give yourself an extra few hours especially if you're leaving during the day.

Theirs's three of us that always travel together and have used this promotion a few times. We were always on the same flight and seated together the first time but we had it changed. We all like window seats so we request and receive 3 window seats one behind the other.

The only thing we don't like is we don't always get to choose the airline but so far the airlines have been good. There is a number that they once gave us to the department that do the air reservation but we chose to just stay with what we had.

We often book this promotion with the Free At Sea+. The great thing is promo will accommodate passengers traveling from different airports as everyone's situation is unique. However , to eliminate surprises we have always continued searching for better deals, direct flights and upgrades on cabins / seats on our preferred airlines. As there is no obligation and you can cancel this request up to 140 days.

I agree that NCL is not in the airline business. But neither is Princess or Royal. Yet they make sure that the whole party travels together. And it’s NCL’s refusal to even TRY to keep a party together that has soured me on them. I called 80 plus days before we cruise and got nowhere. Not sure why they provide an 800 phone number for questions when they have no intention or interest in helping solve the problem. A waste of time!
