Resort for a Day excursions

Anyone have experience using the Resortforaday dot com website for excursions? Would like to book them in Freeport and Nassau as I've been there so many times on a cruise I've done the main excursions offered through the cruise line. Thought I would try the All inclusive Day Pass in Freeport at the Grand Lucayan, and Margaritaville resort and waterpark in Nassau; traveling in June 2023 so any quick feedback or advice is much appreciated..

You may certainly stick around, as long as you adhere to the board etiquette.

Note: second attempt. I now see the first just posted. Just call me a forum hog. Elmer, the pig (lol)

As long as you adhere to the general board rules.

As I'd been lurking around for years before finally "yakking" am I granted the same invite to stick around? 😎🤔

Looks outstanding...agree with you it might be a great place for 3-4 even 5 nights...add my thanks to Aunties for the inforrmative, well written post and pics....BTW...stick around, this place is....unique.....aside from one s/a troll, most folks been yakking iin here for years...you gotta start somewhere....

Returned last week and all went well as planned. I did book Day Pass excursions in advance for Freeport using Resort for a Day. The Grand Lucayan was sold out for the June 7th date, but I sent them an email request for 2 passes and was approved shortly after I sent the email request. Day Passes to the Grand Lucayan were $89.00 each for the All Inclusive full day. Taxi's are waiting at the Freeport cruise port and it was maybe a 20-25 minute ride to the resort. The resort is right across from the Lucayan Marketplace. Check in was quick and easy, we just checked in at the front desk by handing them our printed ticket, showed our ID, and paid the balance. We got wristbands and was free to explore and enjoy. Not sure if it was because it was a Wednesday, but the property was a bit quiet. Plenty of chairs on the beach or by the pool, but the pool is directly on the beach so you never have to go too far. The Pool bar was also directly behind the pool, and they had frozen drinks ready all day long. Lunch could be enjoyed in the restaurant a few feet behind the pool area if you want to dine inside. Cover up and shoes required for inside dining. Or the pool bar you could order casual items like the burgers, fries, nachos etc. We went inside and it was a nice variety of stations comparable to the cruise ship buffet. It was a nice relaxing day away from the busy hustle of the cruise crowds. It was worth the price to have unlimited drinks, lunch, and snacks. I would do it again and I would enjoy coming back and stay at this property for a few nights.

I did them once, back in March 2016, for a resort in Ensenada, Mexico (not where you are looking, but just a data point). I still get periodic e-mails from resortforaday even currently. I was VERY happy with the experience. My ex loved jet skiing, and the resort I selected -- Estero Beach Hotel/Resort -- had jet ski rentals. She had no idea I did this, and it was the highlight of the day. The jet ski staff told us it was a slow day, so come back whenever we wanted (not limited to the normal 30-minute (??) rental. Great staff, nice hotel. The check-in desk treated us just as a normal guest, so that was a pleasant surprise. I remember I tipped $1 for each set of drinks and we had a non-stop flow of wait staff offering refills (lol) during our stay. The buffet was nice, but nothing special. Hotel access is limited with the day pass. I believe a generic room was offered for changing, but we did not use the room. The resortforaday pass we bought took us to the hotel. My memory is we rented a cab at the hotel to get us back to the ship well before departure (not a pier runner - lol).

The main reason was the jet skis. Everything else I could find on the ship, but it was a good experience. Choose your options, read reviews. I was happy. Hopefully, you will be too !!!

Never did resort for a day.com. Last time in Nassau 2017, booked a day pass at the British Colonial Hilton Nassau, a beautiful older hotel. Booked through the hotel itself. Nice pool ok beach, none of the beaches on Nassau are anything special. Walkable from Cruise dock. More of a quite stately type of hotel, you will not find the hoopla of a Margaritaville.

Same - please keep us updated on what you learn and your experience.

Enjoy your cruise!!

Good question, Following as we have never tried this.
