Recent Good News From Carnival Concerning Port Canaveral

Carnival just announced the the Carnival Breeze will move to Port Canaveral in September 2018. On September 16, 2018 the Carnival Breeze will re-position from Galveston, Texas operating a 14-day cruise that will call at Grand Cayman, Aruba, Curacao, Granada, Barbados, Dominica & St. Maarten. The Carnival Breeze will replace the Carnival Magic, which will then move to Miami. Although both ships have a double-occupancy of 4,724, the Breeze is a newer ship than the Magic. The Breeze will also offer another longer cruise from Nov- 3-17, 2018 - a 14-dasy cruise calling at St. Thomas, Antigua, St Lucia, Grenada, Barbados, St. Maarten, Tortola and San Juan. Otherwise the Carnival Breeze will alternate between the Eastern & Western Caribbean itineraries each week.

Have a wonderful cruise.

Vista is coming to Galveston during this shake-up.

Which ship will replace Breeze in Galveston?

Yeah, we watch the ships departing the port right from our balcony. We sometimes go to Jetty Park for a real close view. It is also nice to sit in one of the port restaurants with a glass of wine at Happy Hour and dream that I am on the ship that's departing. Thanks for replying.

Thanks! We are really looking forward to visiting these ports and being on a cruise again. It's been a year since our last one.

Yeah, If you haven't been to the Space Center, itis a must see if you are in the area.

Good to read that you will be on another cruise in less that two months. Have fun!

You are correct, they are the same class. We have sailed on the Dream 3 times and the Magic once. We have yet to sail on the Breeze. Each ship had a new feature added. Among other things, the Magic added the the ropes course and the Breeze the theater.

I'm hoping to go on the Magic this November. I have never sailed on either ship but I have been on the Dream twice. I think they are part of the same class.

If we lived close to or in a port city we would cruise more too. i'm envious Glomarrone, but very happy for you to be able to live the dream. We used to spend time on weekends, watching the cruise ships sail by heading to Alaska when we lived on Vancouver Island.
