No More Door Decorations

We were told on last NCL trip, 12/08/2019 that steward would unplug cell phones left on chargers, that never happened and I also saw some door decor but nothing too outlandish.

Interesting... on our RCCL cruise Nov 2018, our room steward decorated our door for my husband's birthday. (we had also decorated our door the first day of the cruise)

This is a shame... I like adding our own personal touch to our door. (it makes it easier to stumble into the right room also )

Sometimes they get way out of hand. Last cruise there was a 60's birthday down the hall an they ran LED flashers around the door in addition to balloons , magnets and string confetti.

We try...not that we're cheap, but the mere act of booking a cruise means they "gotcha"...some folks save for YEARS to go on a cruise...sometimes its a once in a lifetime thing...nowadays, the world is full of folks who don't seem to care what anything actually costs, or whether or not its "worth it"...best you can do is mind the store in your own lil corner...

Couldn't agree with you more. Cruisers are going to have to be more savvy to ensure a better bang for the buck.

That "trend" has been going on for a looong time..."less is more".....they give you less, and charge you more....

May be the start of a trend in the industry.

Nah .. this is step one ... step two will be when they start advertising official NCL door stickers for sale

I want to see if they remove the plaques that say the cabin has been comped by one casino or another. That'll be the day.
