No Hugs or Handshakes

So had interesting conversation with nurse who is ANTI any physical contact such as handshaking, hugs, and even fist bumps...especially on a cruise with your newest 3000 close friends... I'm not much of a germaphobia (I use 5 hr rule...if it's been on the ground for five hours and the dog hasn't licked it, good to go) BUT, there is probably something to be said ... What say you?

I do not mind hugs or handshakes. I do wash my hands very often though especially on a cruise ship.

Ewwwww! LOL. But safety first so maybe you might want to shorten that rule down to an hour.

I've been known to share that "ground-kill" with the dog - but I agree that 5 hours is a bit too long -- generally anything over 4 hours gets thrown out.Big Smile

I don't mind a handshake but not the overly touchy feely type that every time you see them there hand is out. Especially on a ship.

Just pop it in the microwave--kills all germs, viruses, dirt seeds, etc. Yummy

I am not a huggy or handshaky person. A friendly wave from a distance is my preference Big Smile

No tongue.

I am so ornery that most germs do not bother even trying to infect me. Hugs, handshakes, tongue (lol - BAK1061) allowed, and not deterred, nor discouraged.

OK. Now I gotta find out how to erase this before my wife reads this post.

I don't mind hugs or handshakes at all, but will respect the other person's preference......... Except if I ever get to meet GrandmaJo, she's getting the biggest bear hug ! Big Smile

Why would you lay on the ground for 5 hours just to get a hug?
