Cruise Maven reports: Majesty of the Seas Adds Free Wifi, More Dining Options and New Homeport

Free wifi? Yes, that’s what guests will find on 3- and 4-night Bahamas cruises aboard the Majesty of the Seas when Royal Caribbean plays the cruise ship shuffle once again. After the Majesty of the Seas adds free wifi and a host of timely upgrades, the ship will head to its new home in Port Canaveral, summer 2016.

This news is from over two years ago, so things have likely changed.

I leave Janaury 8, 2018 and they are offering wifi as an extra charge option.

Yikes! She just a Coast Guard inspection and will not be sailing Valentine's Day 2017. Something about her personal flotation devices that are showing age. Maybe rust? Corrosion? Cracked whistle?

ok has anyone been on her recent is this true free wifi on this ship now im going out in may?

Free Wi-Fi is good!

Always love a big thread bump! Big Smile

Maybe free Wifi will start a new trend on cruise ships. This is a really nice perk to offer.

For anyone who has sailed Majesty of the Seas and Carnival Fantasy class, are they comparable experiences? I'm interested to know if the dissatisfied cruisers are comparing the Majesty to some of Carnival's larger ships, sort of apples to oranges.

no... they are switching it with the Enchantment. Enchantment is leaving, and Majesty is taking its place.

Wow .. Canaveral seems to be getting more and more traffic
