It was a screenshot of what you linked to.. I was in an out of meetings all day and never got a chance to actually look at the direct site. Those "reporters" make me nervous too, but if they post something from a legit site I kind of am OK with it.

What's interesting is Celebrity doesn't require testing for vaccinated guests on cruises 9 nights or less from US ports (with exceptions of course). At a Glance

Beginning with departures on September 5, 2022:

All travelers, regardless of vaccination status, can cruise with us on sailings departing from U.S. and Europe ports (excluding sailings that visit Canada).

Testing protocols will ease on our U.S. and Europe sailings.
- We will begin accepting self-tests on sailings from U.S. ports that don’t visit Canada and Bermuda, and on many Europe sailings.
- For sailings 9 nights or less, vaccinated guests will no longer need to test to board one of our ships, where destinations allow; and will have 3 days prior to boarding to test for sailings 10 nights or more.
- Unvaccinated guests ages 5 and older will need to test 3 days prior to boarding U.S. sailings (excluding Canada and Bermuda); and ages 12 and older for select Europe sailings.

Please visit our Country Travel Requirements for more information regarding vaccination.

Better yet, from the horses mouth....I kind of prefer links from the source. Travel "reporters" make me nervous...

Cruise Hive has it.

I saw earlier on Facebook that Royal will allow (after Sept 6th) any sort of test now.. even non-proctored home tests. I can't seem to find the info now (of course) but as soon as I do I will post it. It looks like things will be somewhat "normalish" eventually.

So if the cruise lines don't report to the CDC...and the CDC doesn't report to "us" anymore, why should I call the cruise line? "Hey, how many cases were reported on VISTA?"........

You can monitor your community's level of transmission on your state site. If the community levels are low, places like nursing homes generally can move one phase closer to reopening. If the community levels rise, they generally roll back a phase. Right now, community transmission is relatively low. I suspect it's something similar to what the cruise lines are going through.

As far as your particular cruise line, you can contact them directly.

Whats my "state site" got to do with cruising? Comments like "covid remains low" based on NOTHING are counterproductive. CDC has changed the way it reports...the cruise lines certainly have. I thought you knew. My fault...
