My first cruise, what did i think?

Hi all,

so it has been 2 weeks since my family and i did our first cruise on board RCCL Brilliance of the sea.

To give an overall score i will give an 8 out of 10.

The ship was nice, not too big compared to others that we saw on our port days, it seemed a little old but still nice.

the room was an OK size, we got an ocean view, the bathroom on the other hand was tiny. SMH the shower was so tiny that every time my 11 year old took a shower the floor got socked lol, but i must say the water pressure in that shower was awesome..

We did 2 specialty restaurants night 1 and 2.

First night was Giovanni's Table, WOW it was delicious, the best filet mignon i have ever had. the waiter was wonderful and we enjoyed everything.

second night was Chop grille, another wonderful mean and that rib eye to die for.

the third night we went to the main dinning room which was also good but mostly everyone was dressed not so casual and i did not want to get all dressy any more then i had to so the rest of the dinners we had at the buffet which was excellent.

My daughter did not want to go to the kids club thing they had so i have no input on that, we overall spent our time by the pool and enjoying some of the shows and activities they had around the ship.

Our housekeeping guys was great, took care of us very well and most of the people who worked there were nice except some of the ones in charge of activities, they were a bit stuck up and the lady in charge or port shopping was so stuck up i think i saw the stick up her a$$ one day.
i was surprised because being in charge activities you would think they were nice. the bartenders were not friendly at all, you couldn't pay them to give you a smile.

Overall we had a great time and will most likely be doing another cruise but i am looking into doing a Disney cruise this time.

Glad you enjoyed it. Sounds like an addiction in the making

Thanks for sharing. Good read.

Good observations for a first cruise! Glad you enjoyed it.

So glad you enjoyed your cruise. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Happy you had a good experience. Thanks for returning and telling us what you thought. Disney will be more expensive, however, I have not heard any negatives about that experience.
