Room change

Hi all,

i was given my room number and i was looking at the Deck Plans for my ship and it seems like i will be under or close to the dining room that is on the floor above my floor, i am worried that it will end up being loud , is there a way to have the room changed or once they assign the room that is it?

i am on RC Brilliance of the seas 3rd floor OV.

Any advice would be appreciated

It may be helpful to call the cruiseline service desk (or your TA if you are using one) and see if they will change your location. Generally, it is a request that is honored if there are cabins available. If you are changing categories, there may be an upcharge,

If you're using a TA, it would be time to consider a different one...they're supposed to know about things like that.  if you told them anything about sailing cheap, those are the cabins that get "assigned"...some folks don't care...others learn to look at deck plans out of self defense..I agree with BD...call the cruise line...sooner rather than later...even if it costs "a bit" more..some of those cabins can be uninhabitable...

I have no TA, i am doing this on my own, never again will i be so dumb.. i can't be 100% sure if it is going to be directly under it or not but it kind of looks like it.

I will try to get a picture and post it to see if you guys can tell me better.

again i am a newbie at this and i did not know it would have been better and easier to do this with a TA but i have learned my lesson

Don't feel bad, live and learn...you'll never do that again...even experienced cruisers in here are about evenly split between using a TA or doing it yourself....you don't need a picture , just post yer cabin number...we can find it...

I am deck 3 room 3610.

again thank you for all the help you all rock..Big Smile

Yep...Looks like your under the MDR..starboard side...kinda depends where the kitchen is for the worst of the noise, IMHO., I'd call if it was me.  even after its closed, theyre always cleaning and vacuuming and such....Ive never been on that ship tho….

Let us know how it turns out...gl2u....

So i called and my room was changed further up so we won't be under the dinning room.

we are now toward the middle of the ship.

again thank you guys for your help.

OUTSTANDING...your first cruise eh??? in between all the fun-n-games, watch what goes on...the lines at the excursion desk, dinner time lines, all kinds of stuff...because a lot of it can be avoided. Wander around the ship, just remember a lot of folks on there are newbies too. and Im glad you responded with a positive resolution...sometime folks post with a problem, and disappear into the mists of cyber...HAVE A GRAND TIME!!!

I plan to get there early the first day to be able to walk around the ship and know where everything is at from day one so i won't get lost or miss out.

I plan to make this a great trip because i want this to be something we do again.
