I caved to cruise withdrawal

Well Group, I tried, I really did. We got back on Feb 1 and we vowed to hold off another vacation for a while. Well guess what happened,Monique took out the pictures, the USB stick and her camera chip to sort through the pictures. then we took out all our Princess Platters and other papers, we were good till then..... the tacky souvenirs did me in. We booked another cruise, this time on the Sky Princess leaving Feb 18 2021. I was weak, I could not resists the temptation, I need an intervention-----Advice?

Sounds like a party that can’t be missed! We will have to check it out! Thanks for the heads up! Sorry I indicated you might be as old as we are!

Carnival is celebrating their 50th anniversary by having a bunch of ships meeting near Cozumel at sea and all partying down together, old food menus shows, etc. The east coast and west coast port ships will meet somewhere like ours are doing.

Which one is your 50th? We are doing two (so far) for our 50th. Jan. 2021 on the Sky Princess and April 2021 on the American Song (a riverboat cruise). I think we should celebrate ALL year and NEED another cruise or two.Wink

I guess I am a cruise addict also. The last cruise I told my wife I felt I was "cruised out". Been to all Carnival ports many times, same food, etc. I miss the magic feeling of my first cruise, everything overwhelming. So we decided to do something else, THEN we booked 3 cruises one to Bahamas, Panama Canal and the 50th anniversary celebration cruise without thinking we were cruised out. Weird.

I wondered where you have been? Welcome home for a little bit!

I got you beat John, I got home from a cruise last Thursday at about noon and before noon on Friday I booked a cruise for this April. Now Ill start looking for late summer to go back to Alaska with one of my brothers, my brother in-law and 1 of the nephews. My other brother just started a new job so no vacation for him and his family. (I'm so glad I could retire when I was in my 40's, I'd rather be cruising then working)

We schedule one year out for all vacay time and events. I can only look forward 12 months....at this time.

While we were on the Royal in January, the booking desk did not seem to be too excited about helping to choose another cruise. I booked because the specialist at Princess "Carole" had answered my inquiry about my casino credit based on points. She set me up very well, with a few perks not available otherwise.

Short story--I'm happy with the booking. See you guys on board.

My advice.......book a couple more!Big Smile
