How do we manage post-cruise depression?

This thread was sparked by Coaster's "What do you eat...?" thread. After a cruise, I eat everything because I am depressed the cruise is over. So sad! What are some ways to manage the blues after the cruise is over?

Personallly at the end of the cruise.  I feel kinda bad giving up my cabin.  Yet, I feel like I've had enough till the next cruise.

Goal should be: Live every moment of your cruise such that you feel you've had enough at the end.

Hit the gym, get back into my work routine, take care of the day-day mundane items on my to-do list, and start looking for the next cruise.

Book another cruise,or start planning the next cruise. Only way to recover from post-cruise depression.

Back-to-back cruises -- paradise at your doorstep!

We talk about the best parts of the cruise as we await our flight home.  Then we start talking about the next one and who (if anyone) we'd like to go with us.   Usually within a short period of time we have started the research for the next cruise and/or booked one. Frequently, we have two booked...so when the first one is over we start looking forward to the second.  If no cruise, we start looking at Renaissance Festival to visit (told you I was addicted!).

I, also enjoy looking through my photos and then start planning my next cruise.

Yes same here.  And your comment brought to mind how coming to this site is a help after a cruise.  I can post a handful of pictures, give a review, and chat with you all here about the pros and cons of the trip.

We have a land vacation after a cruise, so a few more days of having fun before heading home. After a couple of weeks away, I  ready to get home to my dog, and back into my regular routine. Besides that, I miss my buds here and need to find out what I've missed while I was away.

Usually I pout till hubby says ok ok book a cruise but I've been too sick to pout...now I'm running into the start of hurricane season in places I like to go so my option is looking at Alaska...also thinking about a mini cruise near Vancouver and doing another land trip in Canada....as soon as I know what the research schedule is, I'm hoping to plan some sort of trip...
