Hotel Loyalty Programs

How many people here belong to a hotel chains loyalty program? Which one do you belong to? Are you happy with it?

I'm a Hilton Honors member and like it. I've collected a lot of points and last few stays have been on points, including my stay in San Pedro before sailing on the Island Princess.

We don't get those great details on our side of the fenceCrying

In 25 years, I've seen a week each at Dallas and two in Atlanta, 3 five-month details in Charleston SC, and a 45 day in Tucson. That, and the 2 two week trainings in Harpers Ferry that I just did.

Choice Hotels

love hotels.com!! Their free stay after 10 stays is great, and adds up fast when you book two rooms each time. You choose the hotel you want and where you want it.

Ain't TDY great!? I'd love to do TDY in St.Thomas. it appears once awhile....

it is a bit different, but we get our hotels via Hotels.com. After we stay 10 nights, we get the average of the rooms we have booked towards another night.

We have also signed up for different hotel loyalty awards, but usually ole hotels.com beats the prices.

The BOSS is my wife, who is paying with my money, so we use La Quinta.

The boss, as in my employer, is paying with somebody else's money, so I stay in the Hilton.

I'm really only active with Hilton Honors. I really like the program and have managed to get my pre-cruise night free every year for the last few years.

The BOSS as in your employer or the wife?

I've got Hilton, Clarion and La Quinta. Hilton and Clarion for when the boss is paying, La Quinta for when I'm paying.

I am a crazy HHonors points collector. I get at least 2 weeks in free days a year at Hilton hotels largely because their program has the easiest rewards system and I have the Hilton branded credit card where I focus almost all of my spending and get great point multipliers on travel. They are super useful in the United States and Canada. I am also a member at IHG (which is Intercontinental and Holiday Inn) where I might get one free night year as well as Hyatt hotels and Omni. I prefer Hyatt hotels but they aren't in as many places and Hilton has so many brands it's hard not to use them.
