Hotel Loyalty Programs

How many people here belong to a hotel chains loyalty program?  Which one do you belong to?  Are you happy with it?

I'm a Hilton Honors member and like it. I've collected a lot of points and last few stays have been on points, including my stay in San Pedro before sailing on the Island Princess.

I belong to several, Hilton, Marriott, IHL, Claion, Comfort Inn and suites, Quality Inn. Long time between stays though.

Best Western with Harley riders club membership.  Also Comfort inn.  I have points saved up again with Best Western after I got a free stay two years ago.  You need 10000000000000000000000000000000000 points to gain anything.  I stay at a hotel once or twice a year.

I too belong to all of them ... used to love Wyndham Rewards for the best deal but they've changed.  AARP-Expedia is my first spot to look, then the actual hotel site itself, then the loyalty programs.

We've had one free stay at a Best Western before a cruise, but they seem to have changed their program (again).  With the cruises and festival trips we tend to accumulate more Best Western points than Hilton Honor points, as the Best Western hotels are more prevalent out in the "boonies" where Renaissance Festivals are normally held.

I just signed up for Marriott which is one reason I had the idea for starting the thread.  My coworker is a Marriott member and she seems to get better perks than I do as a HHonors member.

Marriott was my first and longest rewards program and if I'm lucky (not like Debbie's hubby) I may get the points even though I'm staying on someone's dime.  My other rewards cards is strictly a no for them.

I'm a member of Choice Hotels (Comfort, Choice, Clarion etc) and LaQuinta. We haven't stayed enough times to have any free nights yet.

We belong to Hilton Honors.

I am a crazy HHonors points collector. I get at least 2 weeks in free days a year at Hilton hotels largely because their program has the easiest rewards system and I have the Hilton branded credit card where I focus almost all of my spending and get great point multipliers on travel. They are super useful in the United States and Canada. I am also a member at IHG (which is Intercontinental and Holiday Inn) where I might get one free night year as well as Hyatt hotels and Omni. I prefer Hyatt hotels but they aren't in as many places and Hilton has so many brands it's hard not to use them.

I've got Hilton, Clarion and La Quinta. Hilton and Clarion for when the boss is paying, La Quinta for when I'm paying.
