I just tried an e-muster drill at home. The Shih Tzu was totally onboard with the experience and loved the treat at successful completion following muster station check-in. So happy to please !! Happy

The Siamese told me to 'go screw myself, NOT playing any computer games'. NEVER happy !! Angry

Somehow i think there was alot more to this than "cruisers pushback".....next step is do it from home...why be onboard at all?? hehehehe.....wait.........hmmmmmmmmmmm........

Im guessing they got alot of pushback from the masses...

Good memory! Yep that about covers it. Sooner or later it will matter.

You had commented on it at the time.

We'll see.

Although I don't know this for sure, I believe another reason (I think probably the main reason) they're going back to the old method is they're having a hard time consistently being in compliance. I'm sure muster requirements are based on law(s) enforced by the US Coast Guard or other maritime regulatory body, and if the numbers aren't consistently there then the tried & true "Head Count" method will will have to be re-deployed.

Perhaps CCL is just giving it more time. Or maybe they've tweaked it to the point where they're making the numbers within their new parameters.

Seems Carnival is not looking to go back anytime soon, but not clear if it's only for the Carnival brand or Corporate.

I’ve had a lot of post today, and I know I’ve already mentioned the subject, but people are still questioning about the E Muster and that other cruise lines have changed to the old format.

Here again, is the official response from one of our senior beards and I want to make sure everybody knows the following please.

“Our experience with the e-muster process has been extremely positive and we are able to provide our guests with critical safety information in a more individualized manner, including them understanding very specifically where their muster station is and how to get to it. The e-muster process has also generated positive comments for effectiveness during our post-cruise survey results. We will continue to utilize our e-mustering process while always looking for ways to improve its effectiveness.”

So there you go, and can I take this opportunity and thanking everybody for their continued cooperation and making sure this continues to be successful.

Cheers.

DISNEY's been doing it for a few months....it was in a different article..."a small sense of seriousness and community"??,,,yeh, VERY small....but still, its better than what they've been doing..amazing they're willing to cut into the booze selling time....SHOCKING!!!
