Hard to improve much in my opinion as I am used to the current working for this discussion board and quite enjoy them as opposed to some other discussion board working that I have seen.
Actually, I like the way it works currently. But then as OldGreyWolf says "I'm accustomed to it"! I am very glad you have kept the "Where is everyone?" thread, as we have made friends there and the chat can be about things other than cruising. Also the "Funny images..." is nice when a smile is needed (I often need one). I appreciate all that you folks do to keep the chatter polite and the contributions by all the "ambassadors" who have such a vast experience in cruising. I do wish it was possible to have a "private message" option on this Cruiseline forum as there is on Shipmate, since there are some folks only here.
Watching for the input from others!
Why change a good things that is easy for all to use ? Other boards are a pain in the butt to use, this is so easy and mostly friendly, why change it ?
I like the way it is now but if I had to choose one thing I guess I would like to the Ship Mates feature that is on the app added here.
I'd prefer to add forum games
Works fine as is. Thanks.
I agree with the previous responses. It's easy to navigate and everyone knows where everything is. CC "upgraded" their site and now it is much harder to use. There is one thing. When I forget to sign in and proceed to try and post anyway, it gives an option to subscribe. If it also included an option to sign in, I wouldn't have to scroll to the top, sign in and then go back to the post.
How about more emojis to choose from?
I also like the “private message” suggestion. That’s a nice feature on the Ship Mate app.
Under forum tab, you can see pages 1-5 in bottom right corner If you select 5 you see the next sequence of pages. If you select a topic to comment, and back out, you get backed out to page 1. Would be more user friendly if you're able to stay on the page you're working instead of being sent back to page 1.
Also, once you've commented on a discussion, especially the really long topics, would be helpful if the topic had a "check mark" so you knew you already commented. Its easy to re-respond unnecessarily. Of course some discussions go on for months and are quite lengthy. Maybe keep them open for a couple of months then close. Just a thought,
