This may be short lived. So many sub variants. My wife and I have been double vaxed and double boostered yet we both have been felled by CoVid thanks to a friend. We are going for the colonal antibody therapy tomorrow

Also there was rumour that Canada would drop their ArriveCAN app ... BUT ... I saw yesterday quite the opposite ... they are repurposing and reintroducing the ArriveCAN app to cover customs and border clearance and tooting it as a means to faster clearing ... we shall see.

We have 4 Canadian ports on my upcoming cruise.

If you read it carefully, you'll see they didn't drop anything re the USA and a few other places. The genius who wrote it needs some help with his phrasing. Nice to know we're local...the whole country....

That's too bad. SARS-CoV-2 hasn't gone anywhere.

Oh, well. I hope they at still least only allow vaccinated passengers aboard.

Hope so, but not sure we'll see it this year.

It's a start! Hopefully, it will trickle down to be USA embarkation ports, soon.

Nah..I thought the same thing too......never heard of an entire country referred to as a local anything...but then, there's usually a "person" responsible for actually writing or editing these things....mix in a little corporate double speak, or just plain ignorance, and now 12 zillion folks will think the same thing you initially did...

Hmmmmmmm..... you're probably right. I read that thinking "local rules", as in the city or county or state in which the cruise port is located. At least that's what "local" always meant to me.

My bad.

UMMM....mebbe I misread it...thought it was where local rules permit....and the US of A ain't one of those....the devils in the details eh?

Nice. I'm sure they had to have got the blessing of the CDC. If not, some post July 4th fireworks may be coming.
