I booked a cruise on the Princess website on a weekend because my personal TA was not available. On the following Monday I have it transferred over to my TA. In the past this has worked perfectly and usually within 24 hours.
This time however, it has not happened in nearly two weeks. Both my TA and I have attempted to contact Princess and when we can get through we have been given a two hour + wait with still no answers. They can't even tell us if they received the transfer request.
Princess has indicated that my account has numerous errors such as my state of residence, numerous different account numbers, inconsistent addresses for me and my wife although we have been at the same address for 18 years. My TA and I have been told that transfer requests can take two days, ten working days, two to three months etc. Who knows? It changes constantly.
How can you run a huge cruise line with no communication?
Princess, I and my TA can all quote Sgt. Schultz: " I know nothing"!
