I am sharing some pics from our cruise. Also, you will find a copy of the Fun Times and any other documentation we received. This should give first time Dream cruisers an idea of the activities that will be going on. Different parties and theme nights. Of course, the comedians will be different and possibly the bands, but just this is for just an overview and to share pics from our wonderful cruise. Seas and weather were perfect.

We were in Cabin 7328. There is an outlet right under the bar area where we kept our power strip and then there is another outlet right in the vanity area before going into the bathroom. Sorry, forgot to take pics of the other separate vanity area and bathroom. Love the extra vanity area and the normal size tub and double sinks.

You will notice a copy of the room service menu as well.

I am sharing laundry room pics so you can see what is offered and the prices. There is also an ironing board. I suggest taking a small glass of water with you if you go iron to steam because the iron is not as hot as normal it didn’t seem so we used the steam.

We ate the steakhouse Tuesday night. Chef Samsil really took care of us as my son as has allergies and he shared with us other things to watch for during dining throughout the ship. He also fixed my son a couple of special items and give him seconds. He was spoiled. The chef visited our table numerous times checking on us. Food was excellent! Karen was our waitress and as soon as I mentioned allergies she immediately started being very careful with everything and of course communicating with the chef. She was very detailed explaining everything we received to make sure it was o.k. Way too much food though. We were full through the next day!!!

We chose to go to Tabyana Beach while in Roatan. It is beautiful. The pics do not do it justice. Great snorkeling and the water is beautiful. Had great security. We tipped an older security gentleman and he was right there on us. You would have thought we were someone special. If we needed a bar drink John was right there on the spot taking care of us. When we would go in and snorkel the security gentleman would stand over our stuff and our chairs until we returned and then he would back off a few feet when we would return. There are some nice resorts along the West Beach and restaurants. We enjoyed watching the iguanas. They really blended into the rock wall and there were lots of them all up and down the rock wall.

Belize – Been there before and just shopped in port and hung out before going back to the ship.

Cozumel – Cab to Mr. Sanchos $17 each way. Good food, beach, water park, and clean. We chose the not all inclusive side as we are not big drinkers. The food was good and love the coconut shrimp. We bought the $12 bracelets for the water park and include life jackets if you want them which we used. Good thing it wore us old folks out but it was so much fun. We also used our life jackets when snorkeling. We had a nice lady share her dog bones so we had lots of fish but just didn’t take our camera out there with us every time. We missed some good pics. We took our own snorkels and mask and just chose to snorkel without fins this trip since we were going off the beach anyway and didn’t have any problems.

Tip: Take water shoes!!!

Also, the Hub is not working on the Dream but we purchased the social media package for $25 for the week and it worked great. We used Imessage but also Facebook Messenger. It was great being able to call each other as well as call home. Just know that you will see it saying “Connecting” and sometimes it takes a minute but then after that we never had any other hesitation when making calls.

They are tons of picture opportunities. They set up in the atrium and then on 5th floor near Ocean Plaza past the casino. They did a great job touching up the pics. Some of our best ones.

They do not enforce the pool deck chair policy of 40 minutes or didn’t last week unfortunately. People put towels down at 8:30 and some we never seen them appear when we were there all day.

Good lunch time places – Pasta Bella – Back of the Gathering up the steps behind the dessert bar. Deli – Out the back door of the Gathering on the right. Love their ham and cheese and reubens. Never much of a line. Sometimes the hamburger/hotdog line is very long but check the pizza line because sometimes they served hamburger/hotdogs there as well with no line!

I have not! I will have to look into it... Thanks!

I would love to see a full review. I was on the Dream the week before you & it was one of the best cruises I have been on.

meghad23 have you tried passion island in Cozumel? Beautiful spot!

Yes, the cruise review would be great, but appreciate the post. I am going to Cozumel in September and keep seeing this Mr. Sanchos pop up. Might be something my BF will be into (He loves water parks)

if you would put this as a cruise review it will get to a lot more people then here in the forum. At the very top of the page is "Wright a review" Click there and you can enter a review of your cruise and post pics to your review.Big Smile
