Cabin Decoration Question

Thank you!! I love to cruise, and I am hoping my little man loves it too. I think he will, he is very adventurous and loves everything I've shown him so far. I am sure when he sees the ship for the 1st time "up close" he will be in awe like mom and dad will be. It's cruise #3 for me and my hubby, but we still are always in awe of the ships and the things they offer.

I already have this on the agenda!! I saw it on line and decided I was going to do even if my son didn't want to! I think it's great that they offer so much for kids. Our last cruise we didn't have a little one, so I never knew that they had so much to offer. I know my folks will watch him and my nieces will too but it's great to know he can go to the kids club while we go to a show etc.. I thought planning the trip would be hard now, but he seems interested in doing everything I suggested. Fingers crossed that doesn't change once we are heading to excursions etc.

If your son loves Dr. Seuss, there should be a Dr. Seuss breakfast on board on one of the sea days. There are two different time slots however, they fill up quickly. Inquire immediately after boarding to sign up. It is so wonderful my 12 year old son LOVED it! He took pictures with Cat in the Hat, Horton, I fish, 2 fish, Thing 1 and Thing 2. But, sadly to say, I did not eat Green Eggs and Ham..... the cost is $5.00 per person charged to your sail and sign..... hope this was helpful.

Sounds like you are already having a good time,and you haven't even stepped onto the ship! I would enjoy watching you and your family on this cruise.

Yep, just gave them the names and they took my money :) It was almost too easy

My step mom is retiring a few days before we leave, and they were gracious enough to take all of us on a cruise, the least I could do is send them some cookies and cute decorations. I am going to do the Dr Seuss ones for our room.. my son is 4 and LOVES Dr Seuss. I think that will just add to his excitement.

If you are buying the decorations from Carnival there will be no problem. As BonMike mentioned, you know the date and their names Carnival will do the rest. They will not release the room number to you... even with you being on the same cruise. Have fun! What a nice thing for you to do!

If for any reason (and I do not think there will be) you can always ask your father what all the cabin numbers are because you were looking at a deck plan of the ship and were curious where the cabins were and what was around them etc.

I’ve ordered surprise gifts for a friend cruising on Carnival, and didn’t have the booking number. All I needed was the names of the guests, sailing date and name of the ship. Hope you are able to surprise your dad and stepmom.

Give Carnival a call, they are happy to help you. On the Carnival web site they have a "Gift" section where you can get gifts for people on a cruise or to order things for your cabin like snacks, booze, special occasion cake or decorations. I use this to order myself a case of bottled water to my cabin (Much less then buying it in bars one at a time.

If your father booked your cabin on the same cruise the reservations should be linked together for dinning times and charges.

WE have ordered flowers to my parents on a few cruises for b-days or anniversaries in the past when we were not on the cruise.
