Couple Retreat
Overall, would not change anything. I did not participate in any of the parties, but still had my own kind of fun. We took many pictures in the Pixel gallery and shared quality time with friends and family. We have learned how to utilize the ship and avoid the crowed areas. Until next time, dreaming about cruising, until I cruise again.

Overall I was well rested, the hot tub in the spa area, and the sauna, aromatherapy rooms were the focal points for me. Spending time with family away from it all and disconnected, priceless.

Back in glide again!
Nothing out of the ordinary, amazing how things change in a few years. This was my first time on the Glory, like the large bottles of water that come with repeat cruisers. The cuisine was okay, no longer serve lobster on a cruise of 5 days or less. I guess this would be a review about the food more or less. Stateroom steward Amail was top notch! Ice remained in the bucket, fresh towels , and towel animals were comical.

This cruise was Magic!
We have been on many cruises and we absolutely love cruising. It's the easiest vacation for us, no driving, all fun. You get to visit amazing ports and enjoy your your cruise resort. Love the shows, Love the people, Love the food, Love the spas, Love the trivia and games. Absolutely, refreshing..... the Thalassotherapy Pool.... Cruising again in 65, 64, 63, 62, you get the picture!

First 7 day, what's the fuss about 3 extra days?
Three extra days seemed endless, so much rest! The Conquest has two additional decks or so it seemed in the deck plans. There were many bars and activities to stay busy, even lazer tag. The seafood venue is ducked off on second floor of the buffet style dining area. But, if it is an accessibility issue, take the elevator to deck 11, then proceed around the corner to your right or left, and it will be in plain view. Being from the Bayou State, hubby and I made our trek to Seafood Shack at least 4 times, for fish and chips.

Even better the 2nd time around!
Since we already visited Cozumel, we took a sea taxi to Punta Morena and had the best time snorkeling. There were less tourists, no sales pitches, and beautiful beaches.

Cruise tips
Tour guide was knowledgeable, 4th time on the island, nothing new.
Beautiful, but not a lot to do. The tender lin can be quite long at time.
Stayed on ship
Carnival Glory
Try the BBQ spot on Deck 10, above the casual dining, it is a hidden treasure.
Off road Jeeping with my Couple Retreat crew & jeeps a driving, saw most the island and did more that the usual duty shops along the shore.
Took a taxi tour and mailed myself a postcard. The most difficult part was getting a stamp, no one had change.
Went to Hell for the second time to visit my old pals the tortoises.
Carnival Magic
The on board jewelry sail was a great bargin. Raunas, sun hats, Pashminas and evening clutches were 10.00 so much higher stateside.
After 8 visits to Cozumel, it looks the same, but prices have increased even on duty free.
Carnival Valor
I noted upon my return from cruise hiatus, the room service was not longer free after 10:00 pm, but the wings were a welcomed distraction after a long day in port. ( only 5 bucks)
Got to see Manny the van driver again.....3 of 4 cruises, the island thrives on tourism.
Carnival Conquest
The breeze and privacy from the balcony are worth it!
If you have to go to HELL, this is the place. The tortoises are huge and resilient.
The water was translucent and an array of 7 hues of indigo, azure. cobalt, cornflower, royal, sapphire and lapis.
The Junkanoo parade had the whole family partying Mardi Gras style.

In ship shape for an old gal, the ship was dated on the interior, but exceptionally clean.

Bring a lanyard to hang your key card on, it makes it easier to manage!
