I'm curious to know if C.C.'s attempts to redesign their forum has resulted in any new members flocking over to Cruiseline?
I realize I'm a creature of habit and it takes me quite a while to get used to new ideas, but so far I don't see anything I like about their new format. Appears I've got a lot of company too. I guess a little patience would help in getting used to it but that's not their big problem in my assessment. What I see they have accomplished is getting rid of a number of helpful posting features with no new ones added. Maybe they are trying to save time and money, sort of like some of the cruise lines have been doing. Apparently they want to cater primarily to those who do internet on their phones. I'm old school, only use the PC or my laptop. This topic has been archived due to inactivity and closed to further replies.

Just got that again yesterday when I was trying to log into cruise manager.

I think they’re talking about that critical cruise site. I haven’t been there in quite some time though, so I’m not positive…
That's the one. I go over occasionally to see if there's any news I care about.
Tried to join in a fun convo about Elf on the Shelf ideas on a cruise, and was accused of not even knowing what Elf on the Shelf was. I have 4 young grands--yes I know what Elf on the Shelf is, and another poster informed the smart aleck that they were wrong. I just dropped out of the thread and moved on. That's typical of the warm welcome new or infrequent posters get there. If I see a question I know I can answer, I'll do so, but then I don't go back to the thread for the ensuing drama.
Folks, you don't know how appreciative we should be of Cruiseline. We can have fun and learn stuff. It's what a cruise forum should be--a place to be excited about cruising.

hummmm, sounds like another cruising forum I was on for a long time
That other board/forum.
I was still on the old format yesterday -- haven't checked yet today -- gotta stop here first!
New format? I was looking at cruises today and saw the regular one. Are they bringing back a forum?
What a goof I was thinking you guys were referring to Carnival Cruise. LOL
Johngold, CC is referring to cruise critic, a site I haven't visited in eons because I just don't like it.
Oh! I was going to say I'm still seeing the old format (was there yesterday), but just checked and the new format popped up. It's...different. As long as I can still search & find info, I'm good. However, for real communicating and sharing, HERE is where you'll find me.
What is CC?
