BOOK EARLY...AND OFTEN!

Couldn't resist...the new NCL schedule came out and we added 2 more in the late fall 2020 and spring 2021. snagged an upper deck bump out both times. so that's 5 we have booked. been doing 2 per year for sure, and if they make us a last minute offer we can't refuse, wellll…..all we have to do is stay above ground....whats the most cruises you've taken in a calendar year?...and...looong cruises count as ONE hehehehe

We try to book often, but not early usually. We have three scheduled for this year. I feel a forth may be added, I just don’t like uneven numbers. Happy

Agree if you want the cabin of your choice, need to book early.

Looks like three to me.....waiting for KENNICOTT to object heheheh, he stays gone for months at a time!!!!

I took three this year! That's the most so far and they were all for work - first two were regular full length cruises and last one was a two night media cruise to Nassau and back. Not sure if that one counts but I count it!

OK...so now you know what Platinum adds? Those extra specialty dinners (choose one from each pair)...you cant book them in advance. Those dinners are chosen at the Comedy Club, just down the hall from guest services. then you get a "coupon" book for lack of a better description) delivered to your stateroom. Be sure to bring the coupon for those dinners to the restaurant, and as long as you stay within the $$ limits, its a freebie.

No I am saying we didn't know what our perks were for Gold. Now we are going to be Platinum. It has been 6 years since we sailed NCL.

You telling me you guys didn't know what Platinum gets you on NCL?? I don't believe it. Having said that, some of the mechanics of some of those freebies are a tad confusing...what cheeses me off is that it'll take another 273 years (or cruises, whichever comes first) to get to "platinum plus", and THATS only slightly different...now to get a free cruise, I'd have to beat Methuselah….that's why Im really interested in OASIS class at the new terminal in Galveston...I got a couple more years left in me,,,,I think....just mebbe the beancounters at NCL have outsmarted themselves...something to do with "unintended consequences.."

Thanks for the info.

BTW JB...I think you'll be VERY pleasantly surprised. Just be sure to pay attention to the fine print. I'll explain how some of that works if you need it.

Theres a whole chart on their website...look under latitudes...you plug in your latitudes number. theres a whole bunch of others too. I wouldn't bother with it if it was a bottle of water...and we give away the wine.
