So, word on the street is that if you book through a Travel Agent/Company, you can find some very nice surprise perks that come along with it. Has anyone had any experience with this? I guess I'm picturing getting to your stateroom and finding chocolate strawberries or a cake if you are celebrating something, or maybe extra credits for something (excursion, dining, etc)?

We had a fruit basket in the room that I believe came from TA. With free food on board not a great gift but did give us something to snack on in the room.

i've received a very nice welcome packet with coupons and onboard credits. the best was one time she treated for dinner at one of the steak restaurants on the ship! it was absolutely lovely!

We sailed the Koningsdam in December and was very pleasantly surprised to find our TA has sent us chocolate strawberries and a bottle of champagne. Nice way to start the cruise!

We booked our upcoming RCL cruise with one of their vacatplanners since it’s ourfirst time cruising with this line. She has said we will have some chocolate covered strawberries and a cheese plate in our room for us.
I have had wine bottles and OBC sent to my cabin from my TA. I have also sometimes gotten a better price with a TA then if I booked direct with the cruise line.
