1st Cruise after covid....what are your thoughts?

We are cruising for the 1st time since covid. We are excited and kinda worried all at the same time. we're wondering what has changed what stayed the same. How are things different now? What were your experiences???

Yep .. Yankee said it all and said it well. Things have changed but not necessarily because of covid. Some of these changes were already on the horizon when covid happened. We heard of a number of passengers that got covid on the ship and we know some of the crew had it. Just be sensible and exercise a wee tad of common sense and you should be good.

We've been on several cruises. Anyone who thinks covid is "over" is deluding themselves. Virtually no one wears masks (including us) anymore, and doesn't care. The actual numbers of people with active covid on board are voodoo not that it matters. Ships are crowded again..Meals (menus) have shrunk, services have shrunk, prices have gone up,sometimes WAY up and there's no end in sight. Are we continuing to cruise, yep, but I can see theres an end in sight for us, after what we've got booked into 2024. The only bright spot is crew...they are universally so glad to be working they're just as nice as they can be...and thats on several ships across several lines.
