Holland America Line Announces 2024-2025 Caribbean Itineraries

Holland America Line today announced their 2024-2025 Caribbean itineraries. For the season, Holland America will offer longer cruise itineraries with the introduction of three new voyages that are 14 and 21 days. In addition, the cruise line will add Boston as a Caribbean departure port, and as well as see the return of port calls in Bermuda.

The newly-announced cruises from Holland America will sail from October 2024 - March 2025. Itineraries will include five- to 21-day options to the Eastern, Western, and Southern regions, with some sailings spending a day in the Panama Canal. Nearly all cruises will include a stop at Half Moon Cay, the cruise line’s private destination in the Bahamas. 

Six Holland America Line ships (Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam, Volendam, and Zuiderdam) will head to the Caribbean for the season. The majority of itineraries sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, and two will depart from Boston.

Here’s a look at the newly announced 2024-2025 Caribbean itineraries by region from Holland America Line: 

Western Caribbean - Holland America Line's Western Caribbean voyages include six-, seven- and 10-day options. Seven-day cruises will call on Cozumel, Half Moon Cay, Ocho Rios, and Grand Cayman. Ten-day itineraries will call on Montego Bay or Falmouth, Mahogany Bay, Belize City, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Half Moon Cay, and Bimini.

Eastern Caribbean - Seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruises include stops in Grand Turk, St. Thomas, San Juan, and Half Moon Cay. 11-day "Eastern Caribbean Wayfarer" itineraries call on St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Dominica, St. Thomas, and Half Moon Cay.

Southern Caribbean - Southern Caribbean itineraries range from nine to 14 days. Nine-day cruises to call on Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, and Half Moon Cay. The 10-day itinerary also adds Grand Turk and Amber Cove. A 14-day "Southern Caribbean Holiday" cruise will visit St. Thomas, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, Guadeloupe, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, and Half Moon Cay.

Tropical Caribbean Getaways - A short ‘Tropical Caribbean Getaway’ will offer a five-day itinerary that visits Half Moon Cay and Amber Cove. The popular seven-day ‘Tropical Caribbean’ itinerary returns with calls at Grand Turk, Amber Cove, and Half Moon Cay.

Partial Panama Canal - These cruises are perfect for guests looking to visit the Panama Canal without a coast-to-coast transit. The 12-day cruises venture around Panama Canal's Gatun Lake with a partial transit, as well as visits to Curaçao, Cartagena, Colon, Puerto Limon, and Half Moon Cay.

Also new for the season will be a 21-day ‘Perfect Caribbean Escape’ cruise roundtrip from Boston aboard Zuiderdam. Departing October 19, 2024, this cruise includes a partial Panama Canal transit and calls in Bermuda, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos, Curaçao, Aruba, Cartagena, Colon, Puerto Limon, Port Canaveral, and Bimini. Following this sailing,  Zuiderdam will sail a new 14-day ‘Southern Caribbean’ itinerary from Boston to Fort Lauderdale, departing November 9, 2024. These 21- and 14-day cruises can be combined to form a 35-Day Collectors' Voyage for the ‘ultimate Caribbean experience’ from Holland America. 

Bookings for the 2024-2025 Caribbean season from Holland America Line are now open. When guests book the ‘Have It All’ premium package, they will also receive free prepaid Crew Appreciation, upgrades to the Elite Beverage Package, and Premium Wi-Fi. Additionally, Mariner Society loyalty members can enjoy up to $400 onboard credit per stateroom (with bookings made through June 27, 2023).
