We enjoyed visiting the many Caribbean Ports and touring a few of the sites. The ship's entertainment was the best. The bartending was great also. We might have enjoyed more excursions at each port but time was very limited for each port call.

This was the worst cruise on Norwegian line after 4 previous trips with them. Food & entertainment has gone down dramatically. They never pushed jewelry shops on St. Thomas (like Diamonds International) & little time off ship, especially getting dark early. It became very dangerous with stores closing. Some store owners said that they didn’t expect many shoppers considering the time of arrival. I understand that many cruise lines are trying to recover from Covid but that is no excuse for poor food quality & entertainment.

Weather can be an issue in November. Either hot and humid or rainy. One port cancelled due to storms. Pleased with service, food and cabin. Entertainment venues too small for full ship. Theater too loud and annoying flashing lights.

Sad to say this was the worst cruise we have ever taken - and we’ve been on over 20 cruises. The embarkation was slow and confusing. The ship’s design had hundreds of people in the main atrium area with at least 7 different activities going on at the same time. The buffet staff was unprofessional and showed little care for the passengers frequently leaving tables dirty. The communication was terrible - from port information to daily announcements. The balcony floor was covered with paint chips and the walls were filthy. Toilets and phones frequently didn’t work. And the disembarkation was very disorganized with limited explanations on procedures. This was certainly my last NCL cruise. 🤬

Very disappointed from beginning to end. It was apparent that the cruise lacked luster and excitement. Overall boring cruise.

Venu is too small did not see many shows venues except theater too small

Meh!! It would have been a great cruise if it had not been cold and raining and that combined with rough seas made it quite uncomfortable. When we missed one of the most interesting ports ( Amsterdam ) due to bad weather we ended up spending over 30 hours in a very rough English Channel before returning to Southampton.

Overall, a very good cruise. The ports could have been better and they need to bring the quality of the food, especially at the buffet, to what it used to be pre-Covid.

The weather was not right for this ship as since most of the days where cold the pool area and the waterfront were useless. The ship felt very crowded because of that reason.

Would recommend this as a taste of Europe. Would love to see more like this

The cruise, staff, dining was just great! Excursions were good with only a few issues…

Enjoyed the cruise in spite of the line issues. Needed more time in ports. Need to use professional tenders instead of the super life boats. Could have easily made the Dublin port with professional tenders. I have tendered with much worse waves.

Great itinerary - horrible management, especially of queues-getting on/off ship and at restaurants even with reservations We are seasoned cruisers (10+) and our fourth (and last) with NCL.

This was a very enjoyable cruise. There were issues with Storm Agnes hitting Ireland and making us miss those ports, and there was definitely a lot of flu and/or Covid spreading on the ship. No matter - we had a great time and would do it again. Be prepared, protect yourself, and there's no reason why anyone can't enjoy a great cruise like this.

Would not sail on the Getaway again . Lack of communication with ships personal on organization on port calls especially tender ports. Lots of sick people on about third day out.

Overall very disappointing and dissatisfied, unfortunately we booked two cruises back to back with NCL, but never after this, all they care is to get your money but not service back, especially the ports letting people out was ridiculously waiting for hours, didn’t open all line’s possible, officers standing and looking at crowd, I had a surgery two months ago, I almost passed out, they just don’t care, not enough personnel for guest services and one person for internet issues for 4000 guests, wasted one day and half to try to solve a problem with the internet, totally ridiculous and disappointing

This was our third cruise this year. We were very excited about our first trip to Europe. The ports were AMAZING!! Every stop was a new adventure. The only bummer was that we had to go back to the ship. They did a very poor job of making the trip enjoyable with poor customer service and an overall poor offering of restaurants and activities.

It was a lovely cruise with a great itinerary. This was a special occasion cruise for my birthday. Even though I mentioned it up front and it was noted on my reservation, it was never acknowledged by NCL.

Overall, this cruise exceeded my expectations. My room steward, Marvin, was amazing. I enjoyed the sit-down dining at Savor and most staff were excellent. I didn't use the water slides or rope course on this trip (although enjoyed them on a previous cruise). I did more excursions than I usually do and was amazed at the quality of the guides. Four of six guides were excellent. I've taken many trips where I wouldn't rate any of the guides excellent, so this was a shock to me. In general, the excursions were more generous with free time than usual. Biggest frustration is that only one excursion used the QuietVox-type of technology ... a cheaper version, but adequate. ALL excursions that have guided walks should be using this technology. I missed much by not being able to adequately hear the guide, which was frustrating. The meetings for excursions and the process for getting to the busses was mediocre to extremely poor in terms of wait time and, in two cases, the process for handing out bus stickers. The worst I've experienced compared to previous cruises. While most were okay, a couple of the shore excursion employees were mediocre at best. Do not expect calls to the operator to be answered ... I tried numerous times and never had a call answered. I would wait and it would eventually hang up on me ... repeatedly.

We missed two of the best ports because of the weather. Not NCL's fault. We will not be recommending this ship or itinerary to anyone. Most cities are 2 hrs away from the industrialized ports we docked in which wasted alot of time due to travel. I recommend picking a smaller ship and different itinerary.
