A: From what I have read, you can book transportation to and from the ship for around $16 each way from the Fort Lauderdale airport to the port. Looks like it’s a bit more costly going to and from MIA airport, around $25

Answered by Harvey0731 on February 14, 2024

A: Just get a random taxi each way and ask them the price before you get in the car. It’s a 15 minute drive in traffic. Like other people said, it’s rather cheap. If you’re using a credit card, confirm their reader works before you get in too. They... sometimes pull crap where you get to the end of the ride and their reader is “broke.” So they “need” cash and raise the price. It’s amazing how the readers fix themselves when you tell them you don’t have cash.See More

Answered by TheVegasSphere on February 15, 2024

A: taxi will cost you about 15 plus tip.you can see the port from the airport.Don't fall for the trap of private transport here.

Answered by Roworth on February 15, 2024

A: It’s a 5-10 minute ride. $20

Answered by jpmato16 on February 13, 2024

A: Taxis more expensive than that, I hear. that sounds like Uber or Lyft pricing.

Answered by gardenchick on February 16, 2024

A: Port Everglades is only about 3 miles from Fort Lauderdale airport. There are quite a few hotels that will pick you up from the airport free shuttle and take you to the hotel. From the hotel to the port I was told to anticipate anywhere between 10 an... d $15 per person if it's Lyft or Shuttle. There are other more expensive options. Embassy suites will pick you up at the airport take you to the hotel then come back in the morning and pick you up and take you to the port and a full breakfast is included but it's nearly $600.See More

A: a Fligth after 1pm is safe just in cases there's some delay in Debarkation

Answered by Razor78 on February 5, 2024

A: The safe bet is nothing before noon. That gives enough of a cushion should the ship be delayed in clearing customs. Anything earlier is still doable, provided everything stays on schedule, but generally isn’t worth the added stress should there be a... delay.See More

Answered by Jerrec on February 4, 2024

A: Agree. Not before noon. We usually shoot for 1 or 2

Answered by karlgrgurich on February 9, 2024

A: 10:30-11:00am departure flight is generally the earliest I would aim for to give you enough time to get off the ship with your luggage and arrive at the airport to check in, get through security. I would also recommend requesting one of the first tim... e slots to disembark from the ship. This can be done at guest services. Most ships kick you off by 9am so best to get right off the ship and head home. I think afternoon flights 1pm+ have you waiting at the airport too long time when all you want to do is get home.See More

Answered by ShipsNSips on February 4, 2024

Answered by Aprillove17 on January 1, 2024

A: Normally all passengers are required to be onboard 2 hours before scheduled departure time. That means you would need to allow enough time for your flight to land, gather your luggage and get a transfer to the port and get through security before 2 pm... . It depends how much you trust your airline to not have any delays. Most recommend flying in the day prior to sailing. On the last day you are scheduled to arrive in port at 7 am. This is an estimated time and the ship must clear customs before anyone can get off. Again allow enough time to get off ship go through customs, gather luggage and get transfer back to airport. Usually you need to arrive 2 hours prior to your flight for check in and security as well. The airport and port are close to each other but not walkable. Again it’s recommended that you schedule flights for after noon.See More

Answered by updegrove83 on January 1, 2024

Answered by Suzie68 on September 27, 2023

A: All depends on how fast folks get off from the prior trip and what the government and port authorities say. But usually around 11 or 11:30 they start with the elite and suites. You must be on board at least an hour before departure, the ship has to... let the government know who is onboard. One exception I have found, if you are going to be a bit late immediately call the cruise line and explain what is going on and an ETA. In 10 years I have been 20-30 minutes late ( or 30-40 minutes before departure) twice and they let me board because I kept in contact with them and they knew where I was, what the issue was, and my arrival time.See More

Answered by esrescuer on April 25, 2023

A: Which cruise line? Each cruise line package is different along with the prices. However, what I can say with the little you gave…. Carnival Corporation which include Princess, Holland America and Carnival… pricing varies according to cruise line a... nd length of cruise. However, they limit you to 15 drinks a day up to a certain price point. Princess does offer 2 plans which are the plus and premier. The plus is drinks up to $15 and premier is up to $20 both include a variety of other benefits. Here is a link …https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/beverages/. Royal Caribbean packages do NOT have a cap on the number but I believe there is a time spacing ….. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/beverage-packages….. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/topics/beverage-packageSee More
