Casual...very. Some people may not have luggage yet. Hopefully most will be respectful of others; no bathing suits, wraps, gym clothes and such. For those skirting the limits, hopefully ship's personnel will convince them to find a more suitable environment.

we always do dress/casual 1st night at dinner. we've spent the whole time exploring the ship and then rushed to get ready for dinner so we could eat and then explore even more..lolololololololol. but that's how our family does it!

75% of people will be casual since luggage doesn't always arrive on time, so if it's something particular you want to wear keep it in your carry on along with your toiletries, the restaurants don't frown upon it on day one.

You do realize that multiple cruise lines sail from Port Everglades, right? You posted this under questions for the entire port.

I do not like when they wear a hat in the dining room. ðŸ¤

Casual. They always recommend long pants however I go in whatever I wore that day. For me that’s nice shorts and a button down casual shirt.

usually, anything goes (except swimwear) in the dining room on embarkation day.

Generally pretty casual as most people won't have luggage delivered yet. I try to pack long pants and a shirt in my carryon for dinner.

Main dining room no shorts or jeans with holes. Most wear slacks dress shirts and women wear pants suits or dresses.

Agree with most folks. Luggage delivery can be delayed. So often you need to wear what you came onboard in. Or if you have packed anything in your carry on you’re good to go. No swimwear however.

yes, it's casual, some folk travel a long way to get to the ship, last thing you need on the 1st night is to get formal.having said that, you do not mention the cruise line your on so could be different

It's very casual. Pretty much what your wearing getting on the ship you can wear to dinner. Minus the swim wear of course.

Casual, after flights, hotel and Uber everyone gets a free pass for the first day, I'm sure you should not go to dinner looking haggard though.
