The great & smooth voyage made the whole experience so relaxing that I spent every night retiring early to my stateroom; sleeping in every day. I disembarked in San Juan, shopping at the Ralph Lauren Polo Outlet. Otherwise, I went to the beautiful beach at Half Moon Key. The white sand & unbelievably blue ocean water cannot be found anywhere in the world!

Fun but I feel we were deceived by Holland America because they knew in advance that we were not going to stop in 2 of the Mexican ports, but did not tell us in advance, which would have been the honest, ethical thing to do.

The Zuiderdam staff, food and entertainment were all excellent, but the ship did appear to need some maintenance work in a few areas. In general we would have like to have more port calls as we felt there was too much time at sea.

The cruise was amazing. We had perfect weather. Great views off verandah.

I spent a lot of my free time at the Crows Nest capturing the views, relaxing and reading a book. If l was not there l was using the recreation center or eating all the wonderful food being offered. Awesome trip!

Our trip was a cruisetour. We selected the land portion to be first. It was amazing. We decided to have the 2 day Denali stay and a Yukon land tour. We all had a memorable trip. Our tour director, Justin, was beyond wonderful. By having the cruise at the end of the trip, we only visited Skagway, where we boarded the ship, and Ketchikan.

It was our 3rd time in Alaska. We opted for tours in two places not previously offered--the Tracy Arm adventure and the photo safari--and got to see Skagway and learn some of its history. All in all a nice way to mark my wife's birthday. (And yes, the wait staff brought a piece of cake and sang the "traditional" celebration song.)

It was a lovely trip that I wanted to complete before my 75th birthday. I also consider this as one of my bucket list experiences.

We would not choose this cruise line again, the negatives for us did not go away and the positives were what we have know on other cruises lines. Holland is more expensive and the value added is just not there for us. I realize that it is personal choice and Holland has many loyal return cruisers, but we will not be one of them. Sadly for us we paired this cruise with a 34 Tahiti cruise on the same ship and we really wished we had not as we feel stuck here for the next month.

This cruise was long awaited and appreciated because every minute of the trip was filled with lifelong memories that I could never have imagined.

Over all the cruise was okay considering it was done with covid restriction in place.

Much better than expected, precautions were in place against the spread of virus, although services were affected by sick crew. The embarkation procedures were the best we have experienced. Food was great and entertainment was good.

We have disembarked in San Diego many times. There has never been a long delay going through immigration and customs, when that process was handled in the port building on the ground, instead of on the ship.

I am an experienced cruiser, and we chose this cruise because of the ports being visited...Panama Canal. This was the first cruise with Holland America. We will cruise again, but we will be choosing a different cruise line.

The weather was warm which was the primary reason for taking the cruise. Nice itinerary and the staff we encountered during the trip were outstanding.

We enjoyed our cruise (very relaxing)! Reserving a clam shell with chairs was a great way to enjoy Half Moon Cay! Snorkeling was nice in Grand Cayman (beautiful fish)! Main dining room meals were outstanding! We would like to see Holland America offer snack or some food items in the evening as we were often a bit hungry after the shows and food areas were often closed or closing around 8:30pm (since we had early seating for dinner, we were often a bit hungry in the evening). All in all, we enjoyed our cruise!

Love cruising on Holland America, staff is always friendly, very accommodating. We were traveling with our daughter and husband and friends.

We have done many cruises with other companies but all were over 10 years ago. If this is what the cruise industry has gone to it is down hill. We used to be pampered and you could have high expectations that would be exceeded. Now, not so much. The value is there since everything is covered and you can choose whether or not you want to spend more. Just don’t have high expectations and it will probably be good.
