Recommend this ship if their main dining room food quality and preparation improve. We heard that it was do for refurbishing this summer. The ship was still beautiful. If things did not work like the hairdryer in our room...they were attended to and fixed promptly.

Excellent in the Lido and pool side all day long, Excellent room sevice and The Pinnacle Grill. The main dining room food was poor to fair. The Chef's description and choices...(down to the sauces) were bizarre and often tasted not palatable.

It was hard because we chose the late seating per a request of traveling companions. We often missed Karaoke and other activities. I would have chosen the 6:15 seating downstairs. Unfortunately, I can't remember offering this as an option when we booked. 5:00 PM and 8:00 P.M.
The Comedian and Piano Bar were outstanding. I did not get to many other activities except Bingo.

Our room and table stewards were wonderful. We ate at the Pinnacle Grill one night and probably got the one and only crappy waiter on the ship. Oh well, it makes for a funny story in the future.

The Spa was very good. I waited for a couple of days and they offered a $99.00 special for 1 hour massage, scalp, feet, back and neck with a wonderful facial...and access to the Thermal Suite and Hydrotherapy Suites via two key cards. I had seen these suites before on the Zuiderdam and the charge was $40.00 per day or 150.00 per week. I really wanted to try them this time. I can lose that on Bingo or in the Casino in a heartbeat. What they did not tell us on the tour is that you can purchase the two separately for $20.00 per day.
It was like being in heaven with ceramic chaise lounges, rain forest shower, aromatherapy sauna/steam room and a gorgeous hydrotherapy pool with pressure water spouts to relieve tension...and a relaxation room. I was clear that I do my own skin care and have products at home so they did not try to pressure or peddle expensive skin care products on me. That was important to me because that has happened to me in the past and it can ruin a facial or massage.

The deluxe verandah suites are great! We have looked at other lines and these rooms are spacious and and have a wonderful verandahs. We usually search vacations often and can find great deals on these periodically. The room is over 500 square feet and they include all dry cleaning, laundry, pressing. A bottle of cahampgne awaited us and we had a cocktail/hot and cold appetizers in our room that was elegant and very memorable. This gave us unlimited access to The Neptune Lounge where I had many great coffees, expressos, capuccinos and low carb snacks like gouda, pate and smoked salmon which helped me not eat like a glutton during the trip. I even fit into my gown for the last formal night!
The tour via bus was fun and 29.99 per person...worth it since we didn't know the island at all. Taxis to town with a quick shopping tip was also good. Taxi was only 4.00 pp.
We should have eaten lunch on the ship, it was a mob scene at the BBQ on the island. I am not after a suntan and the shops were tourist trinkets. The place was a maze where the food was served. It was nice to go ashore breifly but that was it. The tenders to the island were large and that was very, very nice.
