This was a charter cruise on the Zaandam, so no HA onboard activities. We were on an excursion that had us back 30mins late to the pier - we’re glad it was purchased through Holland America, but was stressful nonetheless.Embarkation

Ate dinner at Pinnacle one time- excellent!
Buffet, Dive-in, and MDR - good but not excellent.
Onboard Activities
Pools and gym were nice- I was on charter cruise so didn’t get the Holland America onboard activities.

Nice sized cabin - bed/pillows were good enough, there was a small tub with shower over. Only one electric outlet (holds 2 plugs), located near the desk/dresser. Last night of cruise, around 3:30am - 6 am, there was a loud commotion as the boat maneuvered to dock. It was the only time in the entire cruise where being on a low deck was not pleasant.
Ship tip
If you’re looking for a change from MDR, the Pinnacle is a worthy choice.
