This would rank as our least favorite cruise. Zaandam, which we have cruised on twice before, was tired and need some loving care (preventative Maintenance) The staff made the cruise. The weather was cold and windy, but then it is Springtime! Missing the day in Montreal was a bummer. Entertainment was not as good as expected.

The shows on mainstage were average; Other than one piano player in the Ocean bar the entertain was average. The piano player, Joel, was excellent

The staff, in all departments were excellent and always there to make your trip a wonderful one. They truly help you to Savor the Journey!!

This was our third trip on the Zaandam. It has gotten tired and the preventative maintence has not been kept up. Still a fine ship BUT needs help!
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was also tired and needs some maintenance. Paint is missing in some places, one inset light was hanging down. We were, unfortunately, under the kitchen and had all sorts of night noises.
Shared a car rental. Great visit. All the typical tourist places. Had a good lunch in town and got to visit the St Dunstans Basicila. This is a must see .
Toured withn Viator coach tour like Boston we stayed on the move all the time. The driver pointed out every thing which to a new comer was not helpful to keep moving and giving history lessons, dates etc.
