A Great cruise experience by MickeyP811

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Wonder of the Seas

The sailing had 7000 guests with 2000 being kids, however with the size of the ship we never felt overwhelmed. Get to the pools early on sea days as the pools are small and they do get packed early. Do not miss any of the shows, they are all worth seeing. If you like music check out the entertainers on board, we had a band called Phoenix who we really enjoyed. We had an issue getting our table that we reserved. In the MDR, the crew did their best to accommodate us.. if you have a problem with something, say something they want to make it right. We did Chops and Giovanni’s as our signature dining and both were outstanding and we will be booking the UDP on our next cruise. Most of all relax, your on vacation and a day at vacation is way better then a day at work….Also don’t forget to smile these workers really deserve it

Absolutely gorgeous ship! by teamfx3

Ship: Wonder of the Seas

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and this ship. We're unsure if we'll do another mega ship like this again as they tend to be kid magnets, but we'll see!

Second worse cruise of our 20+ cruises by ocala3000

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Wonder of the Seas

If you are only looking for pools and slides, this could be the cruise for you. It certainly will not be re-visited by us. We were traveling with another couple, and everyone agreed that this was a waste of time and money. We felt cheated. Majority of the entertainment we wanted to see was unavailable due to venues too small to accommodate the massive crowds. The ship's "APP" wouldn't allow us to book reservations properly. Even guest services couldn't book open seats, and finally gave us their business cards with handwritten pass on the back of it. We had requested any time dining, but was awarded early dining in the back corner of the dining room (table #788). It was like being seated in a small dungeon, with views of a blank wall in front of one side and views of about ten tables on the other side. Food in the main dining room was average. We would rate the buffet food to be on par with Denney's and Golden Corral. Ship only had three scheduled stops. We were looking forward to our first stop "Cocoa Cay", but they cancelled that stop and refunded a mere $31 for not stopping. Cabins are average, and similar to other RCCL cruise ships that we have been on in the past. Saw our cabin steward twice during the entire cruise, even though we only had two days in port. Early dining is at 5:00 p.m. - Any time dining doesn't start until around 6:30 p.m. but we were informed that you are required to make reservations each night for any time dining. Without reservations, you could have long waits to be seated.

A Wonderful Experience but not Perfect by cruisellama

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Wonder of the Seas

Loved the ship and suite services. About 6200 guests sailed. Elevator performance stressed and there were long waits. Up to 20 minutes. Abled body cad use stairs but many with strollers, walkers and wheelchairs. RCL needs to fix this on next Gen ships.

Second time on an Oasis class ship, amazing from the entertainment to the food (well for the most part). Recommend to try at least once!

Overall was great Loved it. by mikeyb2

It was great. The only part I did not like was the casino. The smoking was out of hand. And they now use 8 decks for blackjack. That is nuts.

Just Perfect on Wonder! by llockhart6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Wonder of the Seas

This experience was absolutely awesome! While docked at Perfect Day at Coco Cay, I was really able to realize the difference of the size of this massive ship as it was lined up together next to other ships that was no where in comparison. The staff were awesome and very helpful. The food was great! The entertainment was on a whole different level of fun and the sneak peaks throughout the ship to be able to see all the different type of staterooms that they offer was an exciting experience to really be able to have the ability to grasp a full understanding of what our clients are purchasing to give them insight on it when asked. And above else, the fact that I had the ability to be at the official "Naming Ceremony" was an honor. This was definitely an experience that I will never forget.

Royal quite hit the mark by DCowen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Wonder of the Seas

Fun new ship with a lot to do but Royal and oasis class ship just didn’t quite live up to the hype for us. Very busy at times and certain venues were so small you couldn’t get into some things. Buffet was always rammed and Vegan/ veggie dining also poor, especially food labelling. Better than expected Main dining room food with some of the best service we’ve ever had. Extortionate prices drinks and speciality dining.

Even though it was spring break it was a REALLY GOOD CRUISE NO serious complaints by MrBucketlist

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Wonder of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Like I said earlier this was a great cruise. I had no intention of saying it would be in my top 3 of cruises as it was during spring break ( a first for me) and it's a brand new ship (another first for me) but I still thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. If you've been on Symphony of the Seas then things will seem very familiar but also different enough to seem new. I enjoyed the variety of food on the ship as well and Labadee has become my favorite port of all time out of 7 cruises. If you want to see more youtube my full honest review I recently uploaded just search MrBucketlist Wonder of the seas Honest review, as its too much to type on here. Enjoy your cruise!
