This time was disappointing as we encountered tropical storms which rained everything out the majority of our cruise, even outside activities on ship. Wish the cruise ship planned more inside activities for when this happens or see if they can go to another port of call since families are paying to visit other places, not paying just to sit on the ship with not much to do,

RC is a well oiled machine in every aspect. Their app is so easy to navigate and find information and safety about the ship
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Main dining rooms were decorated upscale from the table to the service, everything was top notch. Dining room waiters show you the highest level of service, food brought out quickly. Specialty restaurants were very good as well and the buffets have everything you would want and even have themed food. There is something for everyone!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
There were many activities: pools, basketball, pickleball, ping pong tables, mini golf, Flowrider, teen and youth hang out clubs. Pools are usually crowded on any ship you choose. Mini golf is subpar. Their fitness center is wonderful as well as their spa.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The aquatheater and ice shows were very good. They have current movies like Dune II and kids movies every day/evening. They had a very nice show to honor veterans with mimosas and complimentary red, white and blue cupcakes in the shape of the American flag. Musicians sounded awesome everywhere around deck. DJ's always spirited and got the crowds going. Our family did not like The Effectors as it was poorly performed but most importantly, they had to throw in some homosexual references which Im sure wasn't lost on the majority of families.
Service and Staff

RC is the leader in hospitality! Our room 8216 attended by DEVESH was always clean, new plush bedding and white thick cotton towels were always replenished after a day out at port which was so nice to come back to. They didn't interrupt you if you wanted to sleep in, they cleaned around your schedule. And what can I say about the dining room, absolute top notch. A special shout out to VISHAL and ADI who treated us like royalty, talked to us like we were family and hugged us goodbye. Anyone in customer service should take notes from these two. Also YOGESH DARKUNDE was also very accomodating and super nice. All took great care and made it very special for our family.
Ship Quality

Everything on a RC ship is beautiful and clean from the center atrium to the theaters, from the elevators to rooms, from the dining rooms to the hang out spots. All immaculate!
Cabin / Stateroom

I have a bad back and when I say I slept like a baby, I did. Bedding feels luxurious, sheets/comforter were cotton, crisp and cold (A/C) just the way I like it. Thick white cotton towels and plenty of them. Balcony room is nice but all rooms are smaller, its to be expected. Shower was roomy thanks to curved door. The only downside to the bathroom is that the sink is just too small, you get water everywhere just washing your face but it's doable. But the worst is that steam builds up quickly, mirror is fogged and there didn't appear to be any vent to clear it up so it was muggy after showers. There is also no outlets in bathroom for hairdryer or curling iron, only for electric razor. However, there are outlets below the lighted mirror near the desk which is perfect place to finish up doing your hair and youre not in the muggy bathroom which worked out perfectly! There are not a lot of places to hang up wet swimsuits so we always take magnetic hooks and put them on the walls as most of the walls are metal! Problem solved!
Ship tip
Dont forget to pay extra for transfers to and from airport to ship. Its worth it to get the soda package so you're not stuck with water or juice. You are expecting a hot caribbean vacation. However, be prepared for rainy weather! We missed 3 out of 4 excursions due to tropical storm. We stayed on the ship most of our trip. If you go to port on rainy day, pack a rain jacket. If you are stuck on the ship, everything is air conditioned like the movie theaters and they get cold. Pack at least one set of warmer clothes just in case! Even though every single person in your party has to pay an 18% mandatory daily gratuity, bring extra cash to tip those special waiters and room attendants who make your stay so great. They work 13-14 hours per day on various parts of the ship so they've earned it! Also, some ports do not accept credit cards, so look into them and bring extra cash if needed.
Beautiful beaches, good food. Bought snorkeling gear back home, saw stingray and some jellies but couldn't go as far out due to rough seas from tropical storm. Our jet ski hour was cancelled also.
We signed up for Everybody Loves Stingrays & Sharks excursion. It was pouring down rain but cruise ship did not get notification of any cancellations from port. If you don't show up due to bad weather and the excursion still happens, then you don't get refund. So we walked to port completely soaked (they are also not organized in their signage of where to go) only to find that our guide didn't even show up. He eventually showed up to tell us it was cancelled! You're telling me no one could contact the ship to let us know it was cancelled?? We walked back to the ship again in pouring rain, completely soaked head to toe.
Very well organized excursion stations, guide on bus told us a lot about Honduras. We did BOSS Snuba which was fun and snorkeling. We saw a lot of interesting fish!
We had a fishing trip and beach day scheduled but again, it was cancelled due to rough waters. There are more shops here but not much else to do, just a few touristy things. We did the aviary for $14 pp and it was lousy. Bought 3 mojitos for $57 but they were huge!
