Review summary

The entire staff was always very friendly and willing to help. Their team spends a lot of time cleaning and the ship was spotless. Food was great and there was a wide variety of choices, both in the dining room and at the buffet. Many activities were offered to keep you busy every day. It was a very enjoyable 7 days!

Everybody was friendly and greeted you always. Our room steward, Riyo, was extra nice. The Martini Bar tender, Sam, made the tastings a very enjoyable evening - funny and knowledgeable.

Everything was clean all over the ship, room was nice.

Ship tip

Had open seating for dinner and that made it very convenient. However, we felt it took too much time so ate at the buffet mostly. Some better choices in the dinning room, but the food in the buffet was great. All drink purchases had an added gratuity (15% I think), so no need to tip.

If a beach and swimming is your thing, this is great! Can do a self guided walking tour to see some of the things on the island. Paid tours gave you more to see.

Thanks for posting your first review here on the Website.. HAL is my favorite cruise line. I especially enjoy the service that I receive by the staff. I also enjoy the variety of food choices on the MDR menus. I especially enjoyed this review since I have not cruised on this ship.
