"Disappointing RCL cruise ship" by KeithB7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship is fantastic!, lots of activities and shops. The service on the mediterranean cruise was the worst in my cruise history.

Here we go, again! by MarkM22

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Transatlantic

In our opinion there really is no such thing as a bad cruise, just different levels of evaluations. Even a "poor" cruise is better than "no cruise" at all. Although we've been on about 80+ cruises, this was our first Trans-Atlantic crossing. Much different than a normal 7-day round trip. American passengers seemed to be in the minority as most other passengers were European, with some Asians. Very few kids since this was 13 days. A lot of new staff members joined this cruise to get "trained" during the trip for the European market (which is vastly different than the American market.) All of the usual "events" were held, but a lot of passengers who don't speak English didn't attend--no problem finding seats for most evening functions. Since this was the first time this ship has entered Europe, the tours were not ready to handle the large numbers of people nor extend the typical "tour guide amenities" found in other locales. Smoking was a big issue as the ship couldn't handle the increased filtering requirements in the lounges or the Promenade (a ship-length 'mall' right in the middle of the ship for shops, lounges, eateries, etc.) Ships personnel were very friendly and helpful in the dining rooms and cabins; tour desk & Guest Relations were slightly below average. Entertainers were outstanding, as was the Cruise Director. Ship's Captain had the best sense of humor and personality of any that we've experienced. Overall great trip.

A RELAXING AT SEA CRUISE by HelenL2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Transatlantic

The Voyager Of The Seas is a very large ship and it was extremely easy to get around. I loved the new shower doors much improved over the shower curtains, The room was spacious enough with ample storage and the balcony was fantastic. Will not cruise without a balcony ever again.. Just loved it.. However, the bed could use an improved support system it felt like a hide away bed. The couch was to hard to sit on so I went to the library and actually enjoyed the quiet time and atomosphere. In fact read two books on the cruise great books found in the library. The ship was very nice and recommend this ship to anyone who enjoys meeting people due to the capacity of guest it can accomadate. The other advantage is the the number of activities it offers. just loved the craft classes...........

Voyager Cruise by PamelaR4

Sail date: /
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

One thing we would have liked better was if a dance band started playing before 10:30 at night. We didn't want to go into the casino every night and would have liked to dance but the bands and d.j. started late.

We were very impressed with the Voyager (RC). It is such a large ship, holds many people, and there is so much to do on board.

Cruising the Western Caribbean by CherylA8

Sail date: /
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The Voyager of the Seas is a beautiful ship. We left from Miami, and went to Haiti, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Cozumel. The ship staff are very well organized and efficient and do their best to make everything work smoothly and efficiently. We especially enjoyed the evening dining and our wait staff. The midnight buffet was amazing to behold and taste. When the hurricane damage is repaired, the tendering in Cozumel will be improved. I recommend NOT staying in an inside stateroom; it seems small and crowded.

Great Cruise by AnnN

Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We truly enjoyed our recent cruise on the Voyager. The ship was much larger than we ever anticipated. The promenade was so real that you easily forgot that you were on a ship. The balcony stateroom was fantasticwith plenty of room for the two of us. Our bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. The dining room decor was beautiful. The food was excellent on par with some of the better restaurants in the Boston area. The service was exeptional. We would have liked other dining options other than the one other restaurant ( $40.00 fee per person). The theater was very comfortable and plenty of seating. The shows were very entertaining. The ice show was fantastic. We enjoyed the piano bar areas and music. The Pig and Whislte was another great place to go after the shows.

When we first stepped onboard our hearts raced. Of course this was our 4th cruise, however, no ship compared to what our eyes saw on the Voyager of the Sea. It was absolutely beautiful.

Fabulous Family Vacation by Toronto

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We really enjoyed the ship. The recreation areas were execellent and with such a large ship, even at capacity, there was plenty of room and we never felt crowded out. We also liked the fact that the sports areas and younger children areas were separate enough from the main pool etc that everyone could enjoy themselves.

The Best Cruise Ever by AprilR1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The Voyager of the seas is an amazing ship. It is so big and fabulous that it took me 4 days to learn my way around. We absolutely loved the ship. The restaurants were out of sight. The service was top class and the decor was quite a sight to see. Everytime I sat down for dinner I felt special because I was treated so special. The food was so good that I had to force myself not to keep asking for more. The spa service was just what I needed and worth every dollar. The shows were so good I thought I was on broadway. The ice skating show is one not to be missed with some exciting suprises. Everynight when we arrived at our room we had a new suprise that was full of care and imagination. I can't wait to book my cruise for next year. There is so much to do and yet I felt so relaxed and happy. Thankyou Royal Carribean.

Overall great cruise. Will probably switch it up next time and do something different. Having a new port each day sounds exciting but is exhausting some times.
