Review summary

A great cruise experience that exceeded my expectations. Very much like before Covid. One thing to keep in mind, transportation costs on the islands in the Caribbean are very high as gasoline approached $19 per gallon. Be prepared for some pricey cab fares and other transportation expenses. The people of the islands were very happy to see the return of tourists and were extremely friendly.

Embarkation

Literally walked into the terminal at our resevation time, scanned our set sail pass and walked aboard the ship. Took all of 5 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I have some serious food allergies and the dining staff took excellent care of me. They even prepared a special dessert for me every night and cooked me special breakfast in the main dining room!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We were so busy off the ship, that we didn't really have time for onboard activities, but they were numerous and had we had any at sea days we would have been well entertained.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Enjoyed all the shows and entertaiment. A nice variety of entertainment, singing, dancing, ice shows, etc.

Children's Programs

Adult children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Absolutely fabulous, it reminds me of the over the top service we received on our first cruise on Royal in 1988

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Spotless and modern

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
A couple of minor maintenance issues that were addressed as soon as we brought them to the attention of the cabin steward.

Ship tip

Bring plenty of cash for cabs and tips.

Hotels for the night before our cruise were extremely expensive! Double to what they were in Orlando for comparable lodging.

Disembarkation

As always, the least pleasant aspect of cruising, very rushed and hectic. No worse nor better than any other cruise I've been on.
