Voyager of the Seas

7 Night Adriatic Sea Coastal (Venice Roundtrip)

Sail date: September 17, 2011

Ship: Voyager of the Seas

Cabin type: Suite

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

Ship was excellent. The main areas on deck 5 are too crowded. I thought the prices for cocktails, beer and wine were excessive. I do not believe that the Cruise Director/Staff are as enjoyable as on other cruise lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food is basically the same daily. Portofino's was outstanding

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The outside entertainment was outstanding. Unfortunately the cruise Royal Caribean Entertainers are not very good especially the 50's/60's evening of music. Band and cruise staff were poor.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Assistance for staff was excellent. My bags were lost for 3 days prior to the sailing date and there was some attempt to assist in locating them in Venice by the staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Junior Suite was excellent and large with walk in closets.

Ports of call

Bari, Italy

3 out of 5
Not much to see

Venice, Italy

5 out of 5
Venice is too crowded.
Don't Miss: Visit Morano and the glass factories and shops. Very few people and easy

Dubrovnik, Croatia

5 out of 5
Outstanding port call and well worth the visit.

Koper, Slovenia

1 out of 5
Sunday port call and nothing was open. This is a bad stop for this itinerary.

Ravenna, Italy

3 out of 5
Not much to see

Pros: Venice, Dubrovnik Port Calls

Cons: Koper, Ravenna and Bari Port Calls were not up to the proper standards
