disappointing

Sail Date: August 13, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We were disappointed. The ship is "tired". The carpets in the passageways could be changed - perhaps should be changed. It needs an overhaul.
The pool area is too crowded.
Having cruised with Royal Caribbean before, we felt that the standard of food had dropped. Never was the dinner hot enough though the staff were charming.

Pros: the day in Venice

Cons: food, price of drinks

Recommends Voyager of the Seas? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The food was not as good as the last time we cruised with Royal Caribbean. Probably the breakfasts were the best in the self-service restaurant. The breakfast in the dining room was very slow.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very good.
Service and Staff
Entertainment
The Ice show should not be missed
Ravenna, Italy
Don't miss the mosaics
Bari, Italy
In August many of the shops are closed !! The Old town is worth a visit
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Old Town fascinating.
Koper, Slovenia
Venice, Italy
As always very crowded but Venice is Venice and can't be missed !
