Excellent Crusie

Sail Date: June 11, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

Our first cruise, length and destinations were at the high end of expectations. For such a large ship the location and accessability of everything was very good.

Pros: Crew friendliness

Cons: Guest Services & phone operator response

Recommends Voyager of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Impressed by restaurants although Windjammer afternoon buffet was only OK
Cabin / Stateroom
Definitely worth the extra cost of booking a suite
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Koper, Slovenia
Lipica visit was memorable
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Town has been well rebuilt after the 1991 shelling but too crowded with tourists and high prices, for example the city wall walk ticket is US$14.
Don't Miss: Get away from the central streets and walk the ones by the wall, free and maintains soem of the original character
Bari, Italy
Old town good for a walk and lunch. Otherwise good hoice of turs.
Don't Miss: The Trulli houses and olive groves
Venice, Italy
Take a basic walking and gondola tour, then do your own thing
Don't Miss: So many!
Ravenna, Italy
Mosaics good but shops close 12.30-4pm
