Review summary
The Volendam recently came out of dry dock, and HAL installed several new venues, furniture, carpets, and reworked some of the older venues. We loved this cruise on this ship!!!Embarkation
We arrived at 1:00 pm as requested - absolutely no wait time!

We ate in the MDR every night of this 9 night cruise - GREAT Food!!
The Lido Market buffet has excellent made to order breakfasts and other items. We also enjoyed several lunches at the buffet.
HAL still has a happy hour - Buy one get one for $2.00. Excellent Deal!
Onboard Activities
HAL has America's Test Kitchen and Pickelball on this ship - we enjoyed both.
Entertainment
One the 9 day cruise, there were 3 production shows featuring dancers. They were very good. We prefer actual production shows, though. They had a comedian and a pianoman on the World Stage 3 other nights.
There are new entertainment venues now in place on the Volendam. The Lincoln Center Stage, 2 piano guys that sing and play great songs, and a jazz trio in the Ocean Bar.
There is something for everyone on this ship!

Ship Quality
This is a great 1,400 passenger ship. I don't recall any lines any where. It was great, and it was beautiful!
Cabin / Stateroom
7059 is a Vista Suite - which is a very comfortable cabin. There is a large private balcony, a good queen bed, a nice couch, desk, plenty of storage, and more! We loved it!!!
