Ongoing cleaning by staff. They never stopped.

Would have preferred an outside cabin. Difficult to know when the sun is up.

Ship tip

Just enjoy the cruise. Don't worry about anything. Any problems that arise the staff will fix.

We went on Nieuw Amsterdam last March. We loved everything. The food was absolutely delicious wherever you went on the ship. Don't forget to try the Dive-In. Best burgers I've ever had. Our cabin steward always greeted us by name when he saw us and asked how our day was at the different ports. The staff in the buffet were wonderful. Always so friendly and always smiling. The ship is geared toward an older crowd which we are, so there's not a lot to do on the ship during the day. That's ok since we had the ports. And very relaxing at the pool area with no loud bands, just piped in music. Was great.
