This ship would have been wonderful if it was still 1955. Very rigid and old-school in their approach.

A wonderfully quaint town. The zoning requires all buildings to look like the 1890's Gold Rush era. The train ride to the Yukon had "must-see" written all over it. It was an eight hour trip that left us with no time to explore the town, so next time we'll do a shorter excursion.

What a dumpy capitol. The Glacier was great !

Pros: The views of Alaska were fabulous. We were told we had great weather.

Cons: Food quality, lazy crew except for dining room. Dirty room and ship.

Recommends Volendam? No.
