Review summary

Volendam is "tired". It's only a few months away from being dry docked...and shows. However, like ALL Holland America Ships the rooms are EXCELLENTLY appointed. We had 3 sharing a room and it never felt too crowded. Food as always, brilliant with HAL. Above all, the Fillipino and Indonesian staff are AWESOME!

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

Great port of call. Try the Zip lining!!! Beautiful spot, great birds.

Don't Miss: Zip lining and the rain forest.

Make sure you take the bus ride....although lengthy, to see the rain forest.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Not much has changed in Aruba....it has gotten a little dirtier I think. Good port, great place to snorkel.

As always a great way to spend a day. It was out first port of call so a great way to start a relaxing holiday. Could clean up the island a little.
