Review summary

We had a great time on the Vision. IT was our first cruise out of Baltimore and on the Vision. I was worried the ship would be too small after being on the Oasis class ships, but it was a lot of fun and easy to get around. The crew was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely sail here again!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy drive from Philly and quickly on the ship after dropping off our bags and parking.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at the main dining, Windjammer, Chops, Park Cafe, and Latitudes. The food was great at Chops as always. The limited options at main dining should be expanded. Latitudes and Park are quick and good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We had fun at all the venues: shows, trivia, bars, solarium, and poolside. They were all great, even the pool once the snow melted near Orlando.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows. musicians, and the changing entertainment at the Centrum were all very enjoyable.

Children's Programs

We did not bring any children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our cabin steward was friendly, efficient, and was great to talk to each day. Our waiter, assistant waiter, and head waiter were all good. Bartenders at the R Bar were great; we stopped by each day. The Casino Host was very helpful and explained a lot about levels and what we needed. Jamie the Crown Lounge host was great to talk to each day.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It's an older ship, but well maintained. There was some signs of wear and tear, but not much at all.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a Jr Suite which was smaller than on most ships, but very comfortable. It was clean and the balcony was fun to sit on.

Ship tip

Don't think the Vision is too small; it isn't and we sail alot on Oasis class ships.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

5 out of 5
Easy to get to, drop off luggage, park, and embark. Very easy to disembark, pick up luggage, walk to the car and leave.

Charleston, South Carolina

5 out of 5
Did a self guided walking tour.

Port Canaveral, Florida

3 out of 5
We went to NASA last time and did not get off the ship this time. NASA was a great excursion.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
Not much to do but we walked around and enjoyed the day.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
This is our 3rd time here and it is the best stop. The beaches are beautiful, pool is huge, and the food and drink are also good. The swim up bar is fun too - tip is to go at lower tide.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy.
