Review summary

This is the second time I was cruising with RC. The first time was on Explorer. But I will never cruise again on Vision unless the food quality improved.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I give 8 for Main Dining. Appreciate the effort of the crews. They worked so hard. But some food was not up to my expectations. Buffet at Windjammer was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The Indian food everyday made me wanna go back to US instead of on the cruise. They should hire chefs from different cultures like from Indonesia and some from Philippine and some from India and also China. So we the passengers can have variety of food from different cultures. The way they served stirfry Bak Choy was very humiliating. And as well the way they served snow peas . We’re not a pig we are special guests on the ship for God sake. I give 5 for buffet food. Crews are amazing as usual.

I like the smaller ships.

Been on vision once. It’s too small for rough waters. Cruisers and half the staff were walking around with barf bags…..

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Glad you still managed to enjoy most of your cruise in spite of the food.

Yeah, I think it's time for you to move to Celebrity just to get to what you were used to

We've cruised with Royal for over 20 years and have seen a decline in their dining offerings and food quality. Most recently, we cruised in late Sep 22 and then again in late Jan 23. There was a SIGNIFICANT change in food offerings and food quality between the 2 cruises. They rolled out a new set of "Themed" menus, which is fine, but they slashed the Classics selections which made it difficult if the Theme of the night wasn't your thing.

We stopped dining at a fixed time and table because table mates keep complaining about the food
