Review summary

The balcony/rainbow cruise because we spent quality time on cabin balcony and saw several rainbows here and also during the ferry boat trips we took this cruise. Quality time with friends and RC was the platform.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Arrived 12:30, used RC app to embark. Smooth process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room for all diners, Windjammer for most breakfast and lunch, and a couple breakfast/lunches in Main Dining room. Food and service was excellent.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn’t use much of the facilities on ship as the title implies we spent our time on our traveling partners balcony. There were many rainbows on every day. The Schooner bar was fairly close. (We were on deck 7 aft bar was on 6)

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great shows, RC performers were high energy and the comedy team and singers, all Vegas pros.

Children's Programs

No grandchildren with us this trip

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff always friendly and efficient

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Like the ease of getting around a small ship via elevators or stairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size just right for the amount of time we spent in it.

Ship tip

We watched the belly flop competition from the Viking lounge. Great view and seating.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Arrived 3 days early prior to sailing. Stayed in an Airbnb on Cal Sol. Lots of good food and culture at museums. San Juan gate and El Moro.

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
Did an excursion here. Second visit here. Highlights of Barbados, low energy tour covered lots of ground and information from guide.

St. George's, Grenada

5 out of 5
Loved the spices and drive around the city of St George and the beach stop at Radisson Grenada. It was only an hour but worth it. I would do a beach day in future.

Roseau, Dominica

5 out of 5
Lovely drive around Roseau. Again low energy but worthy. Did an excursion.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Didn’t do an excursion here. 3rd time here. We shopped on pier and took ferry across bay to more shopping and beaches.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Ah, my favorite. Did an excursion over to St Johns National Park. Trunk bay!!! Just beautiful! The ferry boat crew made the trip across to St Johns.

Disembarkation
