Review summary

A nice relaxing cruise, good price, I will recommend this cruise for people that are in good health conditions, mobile and able to ambulate so you can go and enjoy the ports and historic places offered by some ports. Also be ready to spend lots of money in local transportation.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was quick and efficient due to the fact that we already had done pre boarding arrangements, including a credit card for charges.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We did not made use of the main dining room. We mainly made use of the windjammer café.

Windjammer Marketplace

4 out of 5

The staff tried to provide the best service possible, sometimes the people is the one that mistreat the food.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The sauna and hot rooms were excellent, good place to maintain yourself clean and healthy. Spend lots of time at the casino.

Casino Royale

5 out of 5

The casino royale host Luis made people feel very comfortable and at ease. His personality, smile and friendly disposition made everyone around him feel right at home.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The daily shows were acceptable, I understand that they had to do a variety and it is very hard to please everyone in a daily basis.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Mark from the pillipines. at the windjammer was always very attentive to our needs. Luis at the Casino was always friendly and with a permanent smile.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Staff is always cleaning but people sometimes do not do their part in helping to maintain the areas clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Agus our stateroom attendant did what it was required on his part.

Ship tip

If you are not in good physical shape do not plan long trips.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Ponta Delgada, Azores

5 out of 5
Took a trip with a local guide named Nicolas. This is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in the world.

Malaga, Spain

5 out of 5
Trip taken with a private tour guide Eduardo. Visited the city of Mijas next to Malaga. One day is not long enough to stay at this port.

Alicante, Spain

1 out of 5
People at this port not very friendly to tourist. All of the tourist spots were closed including the church's. ship stopped during a local holiday (labor day) Nothing really interesting to see. I was looking for souvenirs with a local saying "everything is closed" lol.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

1 out of 5
Port located very far from any interesting places to visit. Cost of transportation to drive you 5 Kilometers of 10 euros per person is not a good price, specially if they take you in buses and load you like cows. Local people were not friendly to tourist, they wanted to charge us 200 euros to take us to town in a taxi. Not a good experience.

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
End of trip port. A large, beautiful, old city, full of historic places, excellent city to visit.
