Review summary

1) My son is allergic to Dairy products.  They recommended a desert for him and insisted that it didn't contain any milk or milk products.  However after eating a bit my son started having reaction and had to take medication.

2) We were assigned to a stateroom right next to engine room.  Every time when ship is docking or leaving, it made horrible noise for half an hour.  And at least 3 times it docked in the very early of morning and affected our sleep/rest.

As far as stateroom location....that is one reason we pay a little more and pick our on room. We have been told to always pick a stateroom on a floor between other floors with rooms and always check the ship configuration to see what is above and below you. Sometimes we still mess up but it makes the possibilities of a good choice better. Also as you cruise more, you learn a little more.

When you board go to the dining room immediately and be sure they understand your child's allergies. Check each time they are served and ask for the Chef if necessary. There is a Special Needs Request on line hat you can fill out before sailing. You may have done each of these but I wanted to make others aware. I'm sorry you had problems Hope your child is fine & that you DID have a fun trip

First of all, if they were notified about food restrictions, there was no excuse for misinformation and health risks. Secondly, in the future it would probably help doing some research as to cabin selection. Some are inherently noisy due to engines, kitchens, sporting activities, etc. Personally, I like the thrusters shaking the room a little. Wakes me up to get ready for a day ashore, but I can certainly see your frustration.
