Review summary

It was our first cruise trip, enjoyed the ocean and beach very much, food was delicious and the crew members are hospitable. The reason why I gave 2 stars is the quality of the merchandize they trying to sell to you on the ship and bad customer support after you left the ship. I bought my husband a watch from the royal shop as his birthday gift and bought myself a matching watch. I noticed mine had a bad battery right after so returned it.  Short after the cruise, my husband noticed his watch is running slow so he send it to the manufacturer, then found out the circus board is bad and had to be replaced. After replacing the circus board now the second hand became detached from the center. We don't want to deal with this quality issue any more and tried to contact Royal Caribbean to return this watch and only got the answer of "no watch return after you left the ship". Very disappointed.

I have bought watches among many other items on RC ships and have never had an issue. On our Scandinavia/Russia cruise I bought my a very intricate and pricey piece of memorabilia from our trip. After I gave it to my wife on the ship she found that a part of it was broken. Sorry, my fault, I was just excited to surprise her. I took it back and received a no questions asked refund. I love RC.

I bought my Invicta watch while on board and I absolutely love it! Best watch I've ever owned. I wear it every day and I've never had a problem with it. I don't blame you for being upset. If I had problems with my watch, I would not be a happy camper...especially for the price I paid. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was Royal Caribbean made it sound like I was getting a heck of deal and advertised the watch at 75% off but when I got home and did some research, "75%off" was the actual price thru the Invicta website. So long story short I got no deal at all.

This is not normal and not what they assure passengers. Contact the officers with Royal Caribbean. Look up the vice-president. Person in charge of merchandising....head of customer relations...etc. I had a problem once and sent 7 letters (identical) but personalized to each person. It seemed to make a difference and you should too. Good luck. This IS wrong
