Review summary
This was our 5th RCI cruies, but the first on the Pacific Coast. The Vision of the Seas is similar to the other ships of this class. The difference was the staff and crew. You can tell the feel of any business by the leader, and the captain of this ship had moral at an all time high. Dining room service was very very good. It seems that the menu had been updated from our visit to the Enchantment 2 years ago. Entertainment in the Showcase Lounge was very good almost every night. Good mix of song and dance, and comedians. Ports of call were great. Especially Puerta V. Did the swim with the dolphins for a shore excursion. It is a once in a lifetime experience. Mazatlan was horseback riding on the beach. Captain made a point of stopping the ship to watch a pod of whales off the coast of Cabo. This was a great cruise, and would do this itinerary again.Ports of call
Pros: The ships staff and crew were awesome
Cons: Having to get off the ship on Sunday
